About me

I help people to build self-belief, manage their inner critic and move forward with confidence.

I work with clients when they want to move forward with personal or professional goals or are just struggling with the challenges that life is throwing at them. If you would like to know more about how we could work together please get in touch.

I can support clients with:

  • Becoming more self-confident and effective
  • Exploring career options and moving forwards
  • Discovering and understanding values, strengths and how to maximise effectiveness and boost performance
  • Recognising anxiety and overwhelm and what they can do about it
  • Building personal resilience using a personal toolkit to deal with setbacks and challenges
  • Gaining clarity of vision and success measures and develop their own route to success
  • Personal  and professional development and growth
  • Increasing self-belief and creating a positive mindset to strengthen wellbeing

My core values revolve around curiosity, integrity, kindness and personal growth. These values drive my passion for working with people to deliver success in both their personal and working lives.

Sessions are completely confidential and will provide a safe space to explore and reflect on thoughts, feelings and behaviours which are impacting on your  life and work. We are all individuals, with unique life experiences. Sessions with me will enable you to explore what is currently happening for you, what you want to change and how to find your own, individual, way forward.

Coaching Presence
People describe my coaching approach as calm, reassuring and supportive; building rapport readily and so enabling clients to confidently explore their current reality, thoughts, feelings, and future options.

Practicalities
Powerful conversations and allowing time to simply think and focus on something often has profound effects for coaching clients. Sometimes it is useful to work through reflective exercises, use online reporting tools and gain feedback from friends or colleagues. These approaches are particularly effective for clients looking to identify strengths, how to make the most of them and ,  when overdone strengths can be limiting.    Use of these tools can be discussed at an early stage so that I can design a tailored programme to meet your needs.

Sessions will usually be delivered virtually via Zoom or Teams and depending on the client’s requirement could typically range from 3 to 6 with 2-3 weeks between each session. Longer term arrangements could be considered if required or indeed a longer, single session,  to work through a specific topic and develop a plan to move forward.

Training, qualifications & experience

My coaching and mentoring approach is built on  over 3 decades of experience leading a wide variety of operational and strategic teams within local government settings and more recently as a NHS Non-Executive Director.  My experience has developed over many years leading frontline operational and strategic services including social housing provision, waste management, community safety, environmental regulation, leisure, planning and culture.

I have inspired multi-disciplinary teams to drive change in service design, working practices and culture. Developing an effective, coaching based leadership approach was a key ingredient of of these transformational projects.  Transitioning to a high profile, Non-Executive Director, with the NHS has provided the opportunity to utilise these skills at Board level and make effective contributions to senior team dynamics, partnership relationships and assurance processes.

As an international Coaching Federation Certified Coach and Member of the Association for Coaching. I work to the highest standards of professional ethics and have access to current thinking and research findings on the use of neuroscience, personality preferences, strengths and positive psychology tools.

I am also a DISC certified practitioner and participate in ongoing continuing professional development seminars and workshops through accredited training providers. Recent examples of this investment in professional training include seminars on neurodiversity and trauma.

“A great coach can make all the difference, and this is how I would describe my sessions with Tracey, great. Tracey’s style is patient, allowing you the time and space to explore options in a non-judgemental style. Speaking freely without feeling embarrassed when I was unsure made the sessions comfortable and beneficial. After years of not knowing what I wanted to do with my career I now have certainty.”

"I found the coaching sessions extremely helpful in improving areas of both my personal and work life. The sessions allowed me to focus and look at in detail areas of my life both at home and at work that I could improve and fine tune these.
