About me

How often do you get the chance to talk about your life and truly feel heard? No hidden agenda, no split focus, no advice giving just focused, undivided attention? 

My name’s Tom and I help curious people find clarity, purpose and better health through coaching.

I am a people person. I've always been a good listener and have often been told that I have the ability to put people at ease with my warm and humorous demeanour. These traits led me to work for over a decade in front-facing, public engagement and communication roles in venues, events and management roles in the charity sector. More recently I have been on my own journey of discovery and change which has involved leaving my 9-5, training in mindfulness and turning my communication skills to Life Coaching. As an accredited coach I am a trained guide with a tried and tested process for helping clients make meaningful change in their lives. With highly attuned listening and questioning skills I am able to ask the right questions to bring into focus whatever is limiting clients and explore with them a range of coaching and mindfulness tools and techniques to help move them towards their true potential.

As a coach I am a companion on an individual's journey of self discovery, drawing skillfully from the teachings of behavioural psychology, mindfulness and active listening. Tools and models backed by neuroscience are dropped naturally into coaching conversations to unlock new ways of thinking and uncover limiting beliefs.

I work with clients on the following:

  • Finding fulfillment, clarity, balance. 
  • Tackling low self-esteem, stagnation, stress and overwhelm with compassion to improve mental health and live with more ease. 
  • Developing understanding of specific challenges through a holistic approach to become more unified in body and mind and life.

On a personal note, I am happiest when travelling, hiking in the wilderness, cooking delicious healthy meals, writing and making music. I bring a calm, laid back but humorous energy to most conversations and my coaching style is reflected in these traits.

The Association is made up of a number of different membership categories, e.g. Associate Member (AMAC), Member (MAC), Accredited Member (AC Accred), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Accredited Members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

The Association has a Code of Ethics & Good Practice and a Complaints Procedure.

Additional information

I offer the following sliding scale depending on clients individual financial circumstances:

£50 standard rate
£45 concession
£35 financial support

I am open to discussing other individual arrangements and pricings with individuals in unique situations. I offer a free insight chat to all prospective clients to discuss these arrangements, learn a bit more about my coaching approach, explore our compatability and decide if and how to move forward.

All coaching sessions are remote, taking place via video conferencing software and last between 60-90 minutes.
