Sarah Brooks - Helping women who feel unseen and unheard to find their voice
I trained as a coach in 2008 and since then I have been supporting women who feel unseen and unheard to find their voice.
If that's you, working with me will help you work out what you want to say and how to say it. Something that may surprise you... Many of my clients realise that even though they think they are clear about what they want to say, under questioning, they realise that they are not clear about it at all, hence they are finding it difficult to draw attention to themselves.
I use a combination of academic research, personal experience and intuition to help you find your authentic voice. Once you have found it, you will no longer feel unseen and unheard because what you have to say will be loud and clear to everyone.
Feedback from my clients tells me that I ask challenging questions which allow them to break through patterns of thinking that they've had for a while, allowing them to see things differently. If you've been trying to work through some thoughts or situations on your own but making limited progress, give me a call because I know I can help you.
I have had a varied career working for a number of large private and public sector organisations as a management consultant and operations manager, Of those, my favourite places to work were probably John Smiths (the brewery) and Cadbury's in Australia. I currently work as a University lecturer researching voice.
I live near the Peak District and I love fell running and walking - the worse the weather, the more I like it which makes me a bit mad I think. I'm a great listener, but I always have a few great questions to get you thinking.
