About me
If you’ve spent years thinking you just need to try harder, you don’t. Your brain works differently, and so does my coaching.
Where I'm coming from
Before retraining as a coach, I spent years working as an engineer in the energy industry. From the outside, it looked like I had it together. On the inside, I was exhausted, masking constantly, and always wondering why everything felt so much harder than it seemed to for everyone else. That experience (and eventually getting my own ADHD and autism diagnoses) is what brought me to do what I do now. It also means I understand workplace pressure, performance culture, and what it actually costs to go unsupported.
I'm an ADHD UK Ambassador and part of the UK Parliament ADHD Champions Programme, and I hold specialist qualifications in ADHD coaching, AuDHD coaching, and neuroaffirming practice.
Who this is for
I offer practical, neuroaffirming coaching for neurodivergent adults, alongside neuroinclusion consulting and workplace support. I work with people navigating burnout, overwhelm, executive functioning challenges, emotional regulation, self-doubt, and the exhaustion of trying to fit into systems that weren’t built for them. Whether you're newly diagnosed, a high-achiever running on empty, or someone who's tried everything and nothing's stuck – you're in the right place.
You don't need a formal diagnosis to work with me. I work with people who are diagnosed, self-identified, and those still figuring things out. What matters is whether the experience resonates.
How my coaching works
My coaching is grounded in lived experience and evidence-informed tools. The focus is on helping you understand how your brain actually works, reduce self-blame, and build ways of working, resting and living that are realistic – not just theoretically possible.
Sessions are always shaped around you, your energy and your capacity – think of coaching as the menu, not the prescription. Some people come with a specific goal; others need space to think out loud, untangle patterns, or just figure out what's going on beneath the overwhelm. We start each session with whatever's most useful that day.
What we work on
This can look different for everyone. Some common areas include task initiation and motivation, burnout, rejection sensitivity, perfectionism, people-pleasing, boundaries, workplace communication, planning and prioritisation, routines, and confidence and identity after diagnosis.
What to expect
Before we start, you'll fill in a short intake form and sign a coaching agreement – nothing onerous, it just helps me come prepared and makes sure everything is clear before we begin.
Sessions are 60 minutes on Zoom. We decide together at the start of each session what would be most useful that day – there's no agenda you need to arrive with, and not knowing what you want to focus on is completely fine. After each session you'll receive a written summary covering key threads and anything worth coming back to. Between sessions I'm available by email or WhatsApp if something comes up.
Ready to talk?
If any of this resonates, I'd love to hear from you. My introductory call is free, and there's no pressure to have anything figured out before we speak.

Before retraining as a coach, I worked as an engineer in the energy industry. This experience shaped my understanding of workplace pressure, burnout, communication differences, performance expectations and the impact of unsupported neurodiversity in professional environments. It also informs my practical, grounded approach to coaching and workplace support.
Alongside coaching and Neuroinclusion consulting, I’m also an ADHD UK Ambassador and a member of the UK Parliament ADHD Champions programme, contributing to awareness-raising, education and advocacy around ADHD.

Further information
I aim to create a coaching space that feels warm, collaborative and neuroaffirming. There's no expectation to arrive perfectly prepared, communicate in a particular way, or have everything figured out before a session.
My way of working is structured but flexible. We work with where you actually are. Some people like to use coaching for specific goals, strategies and accountability, while others need space to untangle thoughts, notice patterns, process experiences or make sense of what is happening beneath the overwhelm. I adapt the pace, structure and tools to the person in front of me. Depending on what's most useful, we might use brain dumps, shared notes, visual tools, frameworks, reflection prompts or practical action planning – or we might just talk.
Coaching is not therapy, diagnosis or medical advice, but it can sit alongside other support. The focus is on helping you better understand yourself, build practical strategies, reduce self-blame and create sustainable ways of working, resting and living that actually fit your brain.
If you're not sure coaching is right for you yet, you're also welcome to join my free Monday morning body doubling session – a virtual co-working space that runs every Monday at 11am. No pressure to chat or explain yourself, just show up and get something done. You can book a spot at calendly.com/rhidefine/body-doubling.
All sessions are online via Zoom, so I'm able to work with people across the UK. I offer a free introductory call for anyone who would like to ask questions, talk through what they're looking for, and explore whether coaching feels like the right fit.
