Life Transition Coach | Trauma-Informed | NHS | MSc, ILM5

About me

I bring over 30 years’ experience in NHS mental health into my coaching, alongside a deep understanding of how it can feel to carry a lot - both professionally and personally.

Through Empowered Minds Coaching, I offer a calm, supportive space if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from yourself. Together, we gently make sense of what’s going on, helping you find clarity, rebuild confidence, and move forward in a way that feels right for you.

My approach is trauma-informed and compassion-led. Creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and not judged is at the heart of how I work. There’s no pressure to have the “right” answers - just space to explore, at your own pace.

I have a strong understanding of neurodiversity and the many different ways people think, feel, and experience the world. I will always work in a way that respects your individuality, your strengths, and what you need.

I draw on approaches such as Solution Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, but our work together won’t feel clinical. It’s a gentle, forward-looking process - helping you reconnect with what’s already within you, rather than focusing on what’s wrong.

Alongside my coaching, I continue to work as a senior leader within the NHS, supporting people and teams in complex, high-pressure environments. This means I understand the realities of burnout, responsibility, and change - not just in theory, but in everyday life.

At the heart of my coaching is a simple belief: you don’t need fixing. You need space - space to think, reflect, and hear yourself more clearly.

Clients often tell me they feel deeply understood, and that this creates meaningful, lasting change from the inside out.

I offer a 20 minute complimentary initial session so you can get a sense of how I work and whether it feels like the right fit for you.
