Identity & Transition Coach - MSc, BA(Hons), ANLP

About me

Mid to later life can bring unexpected upheaval and challenges. This can lead to grief for what was, self-doubt, and a quiet loss of direction - all hidden behind a carefully composed exterior.

I support high-functioning individuals in the second half of life through relationship, career, and health transitions — helping them stabilize, rebuild identity, self-trust, and rediscover meaning.

My work focuses on supporting clients to:

  • Acknowledge, process, and learn from emotions beneath the “I’m fine” exterior
  • Untangle identity from long-held roles and expectations
  • Rebuild self-trust and decision-making clarity
  • Reclaim vitality, confidence, and purpose
  • Shift deeply embedded thought and behaviour patterns through integrating psychologically informed coaching approaches, including elements of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP)

This is confidential, structured, 1:1 work designed for individuals ready to move through professional and personal transition with clarity, grounded support, and integrity.

If this resonates for you or someone you support and you wish to discuss further, please reach out for a confidential conversation.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------Testimonials:

"One of the best decisions I've ever made. I have worked with Rachel over the past year after going through a major life change and needing support finding a way forward. I can't describe how thankful I am for all of her support andguidance, for being understanding and empathetic when I was sad, but also for bringing humour and lightness at other times. It has been an amazing journey in understanding how my brain works, figuring out my values and what is important to me in life, understanding what brings me joy, and it has also provided me with a range of different techniques that I can call upon at any time to help me through whatever situation I find myself in. Rachel has helped me to see that I always have a choice in how I feel and how I respond to the things that happen in my life, and it can be as simple as changing my perspective to change the way I feel about something. Coaching has opened my eyes to a whole new way of living and seeing the world, and it really has been one of the best decisions I've ever made." - CW

"Challenging, uplifting and empowering all at once. Rachel provided incredible support, firstly by helping me understand what coaching was about, so I could get the very best out of our sessions, and then by gently and patiently helping me face areas which I had been avoiding. She brings positivity to every session, no matter how sticky the topic, but doesn’t scrimp on accountability. I continue to experience deep shifts in my approach to my life which feel far more natural than where I was operating from previously. The results range from resilience in a moment to taking major steps in directing my career and relationships.
Coaching has given me clarity to seek out the resources within as well as those available to me externally. Crucially, I feel connected to my choices and my actions, and I have gone from feeling "incapable" to enjoying being a (very supported) work-in-progress." - CS

Further information

My six month identity and transition programme is structured, psychologically informed 1:1 coaching, to support high-functioning individuals navigate major life transitions such as relationship endings, career disillusionment, and health wake-up calls.
