Sometimes life looks fine on the outside, yet internally something does not feel right. You may feel stuck in unhelpful patterns, disconnected from yourself or others, or aware that something important is missing — even if you cannot fully explain it.
This is where I can help.
I’m Petra Salva, founder of The Interventionist Coach. My real desire is helping people understand what is really keeping them stuck and guiding them towards meaningful, lasting change.
I work with people who want more from life, relationships, work, or leadership — and who are ready to stop going round in circles and start moving forward with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.
My coaching is practical, direct, and results-focused. I combine Results Coaching, NLP, and proven psychological approaches to help clients uncover the patterns driving their behaviour, decisions, and emotional wellbeing. Together, we identify what is not working, what deeper needs may be going unmet, and what needs to change.
A particular strength of my work is helping people move beyond disconnection, emptiness, or a sense of being adrift by reconnecting with meaning. When people lose touch with meaning, they often lose energy, direction, and a sense of connection. When meaning is restored, life can begin to feel clearer, richer, and more aligned.
I am professionally trained and certified by the Robbins-Madanes Training Center, am a Master NLP Practitioner, and hold an internationally accredited coaching qualification. Alongside my coaching credentials, I bring more than 35 years of leadership and real-world experience helping people navigate challenge, change, and transformation.

Training, qualifications & experience
I’m a Strategic Interventionist Coach, professionally trained and certified by the Robbins-Madanes Training Center, a globally respected program developed by Tony Robbins and Chloe Madanes.
I am a certified Master NLP Practitioner and hold an internationally accredited coaching certification from the Association for Coaching and Training (ACT).
My professional path began with a BA (Hons) in Community and Youth Studies from Lancaster University, leading to a 35-year career devoted to supporting marginalised and disadvantaged individuals across the UK and internationally.
Over the years, I have held senior leadership roles within the not-for-profit and public sectors, focusing on the design and delivery of transformative programs for vulnerable populations. I am best known for my work in addressing homelessness - leading large-scale, impactful initiatives within charitable organisations, and influencing national and local policy. I’ve worked in close partnership with government departments, local authorities, and the Mayor of London’s Office, shaping strategies to reduce rough sleeping and improve lives.
My expertise in leading complex organisational change and delivering innovative, person-centred solutions has placed me at the forefront of some of the UK's most progressive social impact efforts. In recognition of my contributions, I was awarded an OBE in 2019 for services to homelessness.
This deep foundation in human transformation, leadership, and systems change now powers my work as a coach. I bring a unique combination of strategic insight, emotional intelligence, and practical tools to help you navigate key transitions, overcome challenges, and unlock your highest potential.

The Association for Coaching is one of the leading professional bodies for Coaches and Organisations.
The Association is made up of a number of different membership categories, e.g. Associate Member (AMAC), Member (MAC), Accredited Member (AC Accred), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Accredited Members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
The Association has a Code of Ethics & Good Practice and a Complaints Procedure.
