Michelle Bayley CPCC PCC
You might be feeling stuck about finding the career that's the right match for you, want support to get a promotion or keen to improve another part of your life but not sure how to do it.
Down to earth and approachable, I help people to overcome obstacles and make positive changes in their careers and life in general.
I also work as head of a communications team, so I understand the issues busy people face. Here's some examples of what people have got from their coaching with me:
- Changing career to work that's the right fit for them
- Better relationships with partners, family, friends and work colleagues
- Increased confidence and the ability to deal with their nagging “inner critic”
- Securing a pay rise to reflect it
- Recovering after a relationship break up
- Gaining a promotion and making their mark quickly in their new role
- Enjoying leisure time doing activities they love, without feeling guilty
I specialise in career coaching - helping people find fulfilling work that's the best match for them, taking them from confusion to clarity. And I train other coaches to do this too. Because I spent a long time feeling that my own career wasn't the right match for me, I know what it's like to feel frustrated about career direction and I enjoy career coaching to help others to find the work that's the best match for them.
About me and what clients say
I combine career coaching and life coaching with being head of communications for a Government agency, so I understand the challenges of leading teams and delivering more for less. And as well as working with private individuals I also work with women leaders to help them be as effective as possible in their work and to prepare them for promotion.
Here’s what one client has had to say about career coaching with me:
“I was unhappy in my work and desperate for a change but had no idea where to turn. Career coaching with Michelle helped me re-focus on what I really wanted from work and how to get it. I’ve now found a great new position that chimes with my values and that is much more than a 'just another job' for me.”
And here's what another client has said about life coaching with me:
"Michelle has been a Godsend. She has helped me realise that I was extremely stressed, bordering on manic and unhappy in my current role. She instilled in me the confidence to look after myself and to stop the people pleasing. She probably saved my life in all honesty, as I managed to slow down and evaluate what was important to me before I got seriously ill. Michelle’s manner is warm, approachable yet action based. Everybody needs a Michelle in their life – money well invested!"
The practical stuff
I work with people over the phone, FaceTime, Skype and face to face in Twickenham. The number of sessions per month depends on what fits best for you, but it should be a minimum of two in the early stages so you can get some momentum behind your coaching.
The total number of sessions depends on what you want to get from your coaching. Based on experience, to create real, lasting change, I recommend a minimum of six life coaching sessions over two to three months. For career coaching, again, depending on what you want to achieve and your specific circumstances, the minimum number of sessions varies from six to twelve.
