The main objective of Have A Word is to educate and support people in understanding the importance of our mental health by providing training courses, private therapy and coaching sessions for those aged 15 and above.
I am a proud ADHD - brained female entrepreneur based in St Albans, Hertfordshire and founded the business in 2018 whilst I was working for a large airline, part time. My side hustle quickly became my main focus and at the beginning of 2020 I was in a position to proudly offer my services full time to all - everyone is welcomed here!
I have had a passion for people and psychology for as long as I can remember. I find us all fascinating! Working within the aviation and travel industry for sixteen years gave me a lot of opportunities to work with difference. I recognise and appreciate the uniqueness of us all and promote social inclusion whilst embracing individuality. It is with pride that I sit within the Neurodiverse community to advocate self-empowerment, happiness and confidence.You have the power to change your life for the better, especially by embracing your difference.
Psychoeducational therapy and ICF standard coaching sessions are in-demand, yet wildly under supported. It is with passion and enthusiasm that I have created flexible sessions to help normalise the variations of mental health support because I believe that you should not have to wait to speak with a trained professional and, that diverse psychological therapies should become more readily available as much as possible.
