About me

I offer a sophisticated approach to personal development, specifically designed for people seeking to enhance both their professional and personal lives. My model of therapeutic coaching combines the goal-oriented structure of executive coaching with the transformative power of psychotherapy, delivering measurable improvements in confidence, well-being, and life satisfaction.

This service is tailored for people who desire more than just success; they seek a balanced, fulfilling life. I integrate evidence-based psychotherapeutic techniques, such as relational integrative psychotherapy, psychodynamic and transactional analysis, with strategic coaching methods. This combination empowers my clients to achieve deep psychological insight and significant, sustainable shifts in both mindset and behaviour.

I bring together the best of both worlds: the structured, solutions-focused energy of coaching and the healing empowerment of psychotherapy. This approach enables me to facilitate both proactive strategies and transformative solutions, ensuring that you not only navigate challenges but also excel in your personal and professional life.

Therapeutic Coaching: I provide a bespoke service that integrates traditional coaching techniques with psychotherapeutic modalities. This dual approach enables you to achieve profound insights about yourself and your relationships, driving positive psychological shifts and healthier behavioural strategies that are both motivating and sustainable.
Tailored Strategies: I understand that everyone’s journey is unique. My coaching sessions are flexible and responsive to your specific needs, ensuring that the strategies we develop are aligned with your values, strengths, and aspirations.
Holistic Growth: We work together to address the whole you—your career, your personal life, and your inner self. By working on both conscious and unconscious levels, we facilitate shifts in thinking and behaviour that lead to lasting transformation.

"After struggling with some lingering effects of a past burnout, I found myself in a place of uncertainty and self-doubt. But through the sessions with Louise, I've gained invaluable tools and insights that have boosted my confidence and overall wellbeing.

What I appreciate most about the coaching sessions is their holistic approach. It's not just about addressing work-related issues; it's about examining all aspects of life, identifying what is important, and finding a better balance, or coping strategies when facing challenges. By taking a step back and reassessing my priorities and ways of looking at my work, I've been able to make significant changes that have had a positive impact on both my professional and personal life.

One of the most rewarding aspects has been the improvement in how I coach the staff I line manage. By implementing the strategies I've explored during the sessions, I've been able to foster a more supportive and empowering environment for our staff, as well as myself. "

"I found working with Louise helped me focus on the practical steps I needed to take to set my business up. She also expertly guided me to look a little deeper and connect with the meaning and purpose of what I wanted to do. This will help me sustain the motivation and drive to push the business forward."

Access to Work
If you have received Access to Work funding or are in the middle of applying for funding for support, with ADHD for example, it would be great to have a conversation with you to see how coaching with me would support you.

If you are thinking coaching might be for you I’d love to hear from you to arrange an initial free of charge discovery call where we will explore in more detail what coaching can help you achieve. We would also discuss in more depth how we would work together and the frequency of your sessions.

After spending over 15 years working in the private sector with digital and creative agencies I chose to retrain and further my passion in supporting others to live more fully. I’ve been growing my therapy, coaching and supervision practice with private clients and the NHS since 2016 working in a beautiful dedicated room in the Ouseburn in Newcastle upon Tyne.

I am an EMCC Senior Accredited Coach Practitioner and UKCP accredited psychotherapist and clinical supervisor working with adults over the age of 18. I am an integrative practitioner which means I will use a collection of methods tailored to you to facilitate your journey.

Testimonials:

"I found my sessions with Louise very beneficial to help me to organize my thoughts and take action on moments of clarity. She has a natural way of observing which means she can easily highlight ways around a problem whilst empowering her clients to think and listen to themselves.  I think her actionable coaching skills combined with her psychotherapy training means she has quite the edge over many other coaches"

“I'm looking forward to the next chapter of my life and thinking positively about what I've learned and how to put that effect to be the person that I want to be. You've been a very important part of what's allowed me to do this.”

“I’ve had several sessions with Louise. She offers warmth, depth, insight and clarity as a coach. Her manner is focused which has been so valuable to me in my professional development. Louise’s experience as a therapist offers the space to go deeper where required but she encourages me to keep on track with the areas I want to look at.”
