About me

WHO AM I?

I am Lois. I am passionate about working with women and young people and helping them to navigate through all the challenges that life throws at them.

I am a qualified, practising life coach working with women who have lost their mojo, feel tired and "unsexy". Often when kids have flown the nest, women can feel redundant and struggle to reconnect with themselves and with their partner. I can help with that. Be it you are looking for a new career, new hobbies and goals or a fuller more exciting life - lets get "living"!

I work with teenagers and young adults both neurodivergent and neurotypical, supporting those who are struggling with their mental health and/or those who are finding life challenging and overwhelming. Having worked as a coach in a secondary school I am ready and able to support your teen through any challenges they may be facing.

Working with me is a partnership. I will hold you accountable for the actions you take and for the decisions and actions you avoid. I will empower you to make practical choices and find solutions towards living a more fulfilling life.

I provide a safe, supportive and judgement free space to talk openly and honestly about how you are feeling, and I help guide you to reach their personal goals.

I am a mum of three incredible teenagers who are now 20, 19 and 17 years old. I have personal experience of understanding the struggles of mental health has on teens and I am a parent of an ADHD child. I am told that I have an amazing ability to build strong relationships with young people and with women. We all have a fire burning, some of us need to reignite those flames.

WHAT I CAN OFFER YOU / YOUR TEEN

Adolescence is a time for self-discovery, and I can guide them through the process of understanding who they are, what they value and what they want from life.

RESILIENCE

I can help build resilience. Life can be challenging, and I can help to equip your teens with the tools to overcome setbacks and bounce back from disappointment and emerge stronger than ever.

FRIENDSHIP & COMMUNICATION

I can help improve their communication skills and build better more meaningful relationships with their peers, with their family and teachers. Healthy relationships and effective communication are so important to achieve happiness. Loneliness both inside and outside of school can cause isolation and reclusiveness and lead to feelings of sadness and low self esteem.

MANAGE STRESS & ANXIETY

I can help your teens to develop the tools to manage stress and anxiety and they will learn to be kind to themselves, promoting greater mental and emotional well-being. I can help them navigate challenges whether from exam stress or career choices, and I can support them in making informed decisions about their education and their future.

HELP WITH MOTIVATION & PROCRASTINATION

Working with your teens to understand the root cause of procrastination and avoidance. I can help develop tools and strategies to plan and manage a realistic homework schedule and exam study schedule, always ensuring there is plenty of time for self care and some fun times too.

BUILD CONFIDENCE

Work with me to develop confidence and boost self-esteem. I will help uncover things they didn’t know about themselves and guide them to work out and deliver on their goals.

NEURODIVERGENCE

My youngest was diagnosed with ADHD and anxiety having struggled with both school and friendships for many years. I have my own personal experience parenting a neurodivergent child as well as on a professional level, I work with many teens who have been assessed with ADHD and/or autism.

LIBIDO

Let's face it,  with a busy life, we get tired and with a boring life, we get tired! Us women need and want to feel wanted and sexy but we need to fall in love with ourselves again, to know our own self worth and know what turns us on. These conversations do not need to be embarrassing when in a safe place with no judgement. Tears and laughter are both part of the process.

HOW I WORK

An initial call with a parent is really useful - in this conversation iI hope to find out more about a parent's concerns for their child and their expectations for what they hope their child will achieve from coaching.

It is important that your teen and I "click" and after a free taster session where I will explain to them how coaching works and will listen to them about what it is they want to change or what goals to set, it is up to your teen whether they want to work with me. It is a partnership and they need to be 100% onboard.

I am able to offer sessions where we take each week by week (£80 per session) or I can offer blocks of sessions for a discounted rate - 6 sessions @ £450 or 10 sessions @ £700

Zoom calls work very well and I am able to offer in person sessions which can be either in the comfort of your home (north London) or in a therapy room (north London)
