About me
Online life coaching across the UK
Do you look as though you've got things together, but inside you're questioning yourself, overthinking decisions or wondering what you actually want now?
I'm Linda Woodford, a professional and personal coach working online with adults across the UK.
I can help you if you've lost confidence, feel stuck, are facing change or a difficult decision, or simply have a sense that something in your life or work doesn't feel right anymore.
Does this sound familiar?
Perhaps you've found yourself thinking:
“Why don't I feel good enough?”
“Why do I doubt myself when everyone else thinks I'm capable?”
“Why do I overthink everything?”
“I know something needs to change, but I don't know what.”
“I'm unhappy at work, but what would I do instead?”
“Is it too late to change direction?”
“What do I actually want now?”
If any of those sound familiar, coaching can give you the space to slow things down, understand what's going on and work out what feels right for you.
What might bring you to coaching?
People come to me for many different reasons. You might want help to:
- Rebuild confidence and stop doubting yourself
- Make a difficult decision without endlessly second-guessing it
- Work out whether it's time for a career or life change
- Feel more confident after a promotion or change in responsibility
- Stop overthinking and worrying so much about what other people think
- Navigate redundancy, returning to work or another significant change
trust your own judgement more - Work out “What do I actually want now?”
Sometimes there isn't one obvious problem. Life looks fine from the outside, but inside you're wondering:
“Is this it?”
You don't need to know the answer before you come to coaching. Not knowing can be where we start.
How I can help you
I won't tell you what you should do.
Instead, I'll help you slow down the thoughts going round and round in your head and look at them differently.
Together, we can explore what's underneath the self-doubt, overthinking or indecision. We might notice assumptions you're treating as facts, patterns you keep repeating or expectations you're putting on yourself.
I'll help you understand what's keeping you stuck, explore what you actually want and see your choices more clearly.
If all you can tell me is “Something needs to change”, that's enough to start.
What is it like to work with me?
Feeling comfortable with your coach matters.
My style is warm, thoughtful, practical and down-to-earth. Our conversations are confidential, supportive and non-judgemental, giving you space to talk openly without needing to have the right answer or pretend everything is fine.
I'll listen carefully, but I'll also ask questions that may challenge an assumption or help you see something differently.
There may be reflection, challenge and occasionally humour.
Most importantly, you remain the expert on your own life. My role is to help you hear yourself think.
That's The Space to Think Differently.
Why work with me?
Before becoming a coach, I spent more than 30 years working in corporate environments, including IT, cyber security, logistics and manufacturing.
I understand demanding jobs, organisational change, difficult decisions and the pressure to appear confident and capable even when you don't always feel it.
I'm professionally trained in business and personal coaching, with additional training in counselling skills, mental health first aid and advocacy, and coaching around loss, change, uncertainty and grief.
This broader training helps me explore with you not only what is happening, but the patterns, assumptions and emotions that may be making it difficult — before helping you decide what you want to do next.

Further information
I offer a flexible and supportive coaching experience, tailored to what you need and where you are right now.
How coaching with me works
All of my coaching is online, so you can work with me from anywhere in the world, from a place where you feel comfortable and able to talk openly.
Sessions are usually 60 minutes.
If you're considering coaching with me, we can start with a 30-minute discovery call. This is simply an opportunity to talk about what has brought you to coaching, what you might like help with and whether I feel like the right coach for you. There's no need to arrive with a perfectly formed goal.
You can choose the level of support that suits you
You can book a single session if you have something specific you'd like to think through, or choose a package if you'd like more time to explore what's going on and make changes over a longer period.
We'll agree the focus together and work at a pace that feels right for you. Some conversations may focus on a particular decision or situation; others may explore something more deeply over several sessions.
Where useful, I may also suggest a question, reflection or simple exercise between sessions – not homework for the sake of it, but something to help you continue your thinking.
Confidential and professional
What you share with me is treated confidentially, within the professional and ethical boundaries of coaching. I'll explain these clearly before we begin working together.
If you're not sure whether coaching is what you need, that's something we can talk about during the discovery call too.
You don't need to know exactly what you want to change before getting in touch. Knowing that something doesn't feel quite right can be enough to start.
