Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Life-Coaching with NLP and am a full member of the National Council of Psychotherapists. I completed my training in January 2019. Although newly-qualified, I have gained a great deal of experience during my training (and since) and I am passionate about what I do.
I have 18 years' experience as a Teaching Assistant and can also offer help to those with Dyslexia or Dyscalculia to run alongside fabulous confidence-building coaching. Please ask me about this!

I have had three Life Coaching sessions with Linda and I can honestly say that I have felt progressively better after each one. I was encouraged to talk about my issues and gently prompted to work my way through my feelings and emotions, not worrying about getting upset and tearful but seeing that as a release of pent up frustration. Linda encouraged me to look at things from a different perspective and we practised some exercises that helped me to develop strategies to resolve my problems for myself, which is the main aim of Life Coaching. I found it to be an amazingly rewarding and calming process and would not hesitate to recommend Linda to anyone who is feeling troubled by any aspects of their life. I found my life coaching experience to be very uplifting and empowering. The fact that you listened to me 100% instilled me with so much confidence and it felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders as I had been carrying around a lot of excess baggage of negative thoughts. I have always thought that when faced with a problem there are two courses of action – fix the problem by myself or if I can’t, then just ignore it and hope it goes away.
When the opportunity for Life Coaching with Linda presented itself, I thought it would be interesting to give it a try but didn’t really expect to gain much from it. How wrong I was!
Linda has enabled me to explore areas of my life which I am finding difficult. Rather than just avoiding the things which are holding me back, Linda has supported me to reflect on what I might like to change and how I may be able to do this. She is so easy to talk to that I have not felt embarrassed or awkward. I find it difficult to ask for help, but Linda has made me feel that I am helping myself. She doesn’t give me ‘answers’ but has enabled me to view my feelings in a different way and consider alternatives.
Life Coaching may appear to be a ‘luxury’ but in our busy lives, knowing as we do the importance of good mental health, I think my sessions with Linda may actually be a necessity for my wellbeing.

Linda made it very clear that any information shared would be held in the strictest confidence and explained what would happen clearly. At the beginning of each session I was greeted warmly and put at my ease, settling into a calm, quiet room. Linda has an easy friendly manner, listens carefully and asks pertinent questions to promote me thinking of a way through any issues that I have identified. Areas to focus on were decided on by me once an analysis of all areas of life had been charted. Linda supported my thinking rather than telling me what to do. It was a really useful experience for me and after only three sessions, I now give more time to sit and think through my options. My assessment of different areas of life had shifted after three. I found it a really useful experience and I fully recommend Linda as a life coach.

Linda gave me life coaching as part of her training before my driving test, and it was an immensely helpful experience! It definitely helped with my anxiety on the day, and Linda herself is such a caring, calm, warm person - speaking to her helped put a lot of things into focus and perspective, and I would thoroughly recommend her!
