About us

After experiencing 2 burnouts in my life, working with vulnerable adults for over 20 years, becoming a mum and being peri-menopausal, mental wellbeing has become a great passion of mine. I have a soft spot for unpaid Carers, mums and women facing menopause – groups that tend to put their own needs at the bottom of the list.

I used to be the same and I am glad this has changed – not only I’m happier, but also people around me.

I have unconventional way of working. I am like a magpie in the psychology world. I do the hard work: reading, researching, testing techniques on myself (I love testing things on myself!). I then simplify my learnings and discoveries and share it with you. I combine and mix tools, techniques and ideas, and develop new methods within my remits.

My work with other people and my personal experience have taught me that the best way to address wellbeing, is to approach it HOLISTICALLY. I use elements of Positive Psychology, therapeutic coaching, mindfulness, art therapy and many more.

I work in English and Polish.

Training, qualifications & experience

Most of my life I have worked for non-for-profit organisations supporting vulnerable adults facing all sorts of challenges (e.g., mental health, discrimination, long-term employment, domestic abuse, addiction).

For the last few years I have been working and supporting unpaid carers. Each of my job required person-centred approach, compassion and empathy. The challenges, and barriers my clients were facing on a daily basis, as well as my own experience, have made me realise how it all impacts on our wellbeing and how we can change it.

My work experience made me realise that I have been coaching my clients without realising I was doing it. I offer Wellbeing/Life coaching for local authority staff members (volunteer). I am also registered as a Life/Wellbeing coaching with NHS Coaching Hub (volunteer). A few years ago I worked as a Job Life Coach for long-term unemployed.

I have regular supervisions to make sure I work ethically and  to ensure best possible service to the clients I work with.

Further information

Feeling frustrated, disappointed or even ashamed that despite trying all sorts of tools and ideas, you still find it difficult to feel balanced, confident, well, healthy, relaxed…?

Here’s the thing, we are all different; what works for your friend or is currently trendy may simply not work for you. There is no need for beating yourself up about it.

In some ways traditional methods don’t work, hence I got interested in alternative therapies and methods. I offer a personalised approach to healing. Through targeted questions, I will be gently pushing you out of your comfort zone, but I will always have your back. I will create space of possibilities, but I will follow your lead. I won’t be telling you what to do.

I am here to assist you in opening up to your own wisdom and intuition. I will create a safe space for you to talk, reflect, cry, laugh or even curse (we're all humans).

A FEW TESTIMONIALS:

The 6 sessions I have had with Karolina enabled me to look at my life from a totally new perspective. Karolina is a fantastic coach, who through her brilliant choice of words and tools was allowing me to recognise my weaknesses and hidden barriers.  The questions she was asking helped me to open up and consciously look at what was blocking me for years. I now know that the pressure I was putting on myself led me to guilt; guilt that is degenerative.

Thank you once again for your help.

I recoMmend working with Karolina; get rid of the barriers that are blocking your happiness in life. - Peter

................................

It was a very positive experience. It really made me question my thoughts and behaviours for the better. It helped me understand how my thoughts affect productivity and motivation and how to implement really practical tools to prioritise and realise what I can or cannot control. Also, to realise that my struggles are not that unusual. I also gained new realisations that my self care should be high up of the to do list rather than not even committing it to the list. I found Karolina very approachable, warm, friendly, helpful and understanding. Thank you - Anna
