About me
If you have been feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or increasingly unsure of yourself, it may be tempting to see it as a personal failing. In reality, these experiences are often the result of prolonged stress and patterns that have developed gradually over time.
This is particularly common for women in midlife and beyond, when long-standing responsibilities across career, relationships, caregiving, and life transitions begin to accumulate and outpace capacity for recovery.
When stress becomes chronic, the effects are not limited to energy levels. Decision-making becomes harder, confidence begins to erode, motivation declines, and even highly capable people can start to feel stuck.
What follows is usually a mix of self-doubt, reduced self-esteem, and a gradual loss of direction. Not a crisis, but a steady erosion of clarity, energy, and motivation.
From a neuroscience-informed perspective, this is not a character issue. It is often the result of prolonged stress, entrenched behavioural patterns, and a nervous system operating beyond its capacity to recover and adapt.
This is where coaching provides a structured, evidence-based process that supports reflection, informed decision-making, and meaningful action.
In my work, I draw on neuroscience, psychology, and behaviour change principles to help women in midlife and beyond navigate burnout, career transitions, and periods of personal and professional recalibration.
The work focuses on restoring clarity, rebuilding confidence and self-esteem, and creating sustainable change in how you think, make decisions, respond to challenges, and move forward with greater ease and direction.

Testimonials
“Kariné brings a wealth of intellect, insight, and inspiration to our coaching discussions. Her guidance and reflection have altered my self-perception and self-direction so significantly that, while the immediate benefits are remarkably clear, the future benefits are where I believe the seeds of this investment will blossom in full. I am filled with deep and resounding gratitude to have found her”
- Laura Blume, Creative Director at BlumeShine Studio
"I recently put on my first solo photography exhibition at a gallery near my home. I was keen to do it but was nevertheless very anxious and stressed about the amount of work involved, the pressure it would put on my already busy schedule and even if it was worthwhile from an artistical viability perspective. I can honestly say that without Karine’s guidance, the exhibition wouldn’t have happened at all. It was hugely successful and I am eternally grateful to her for working with me on self-perception and helping me to evaluate the challenges in a composed and logical way. Perspective is all and Karine’s counselling helped me regain a sense of calmness and an unruffled approach to finding the route to achieving what I was aiming for."

"…Be open to learning and Kariné will gently take you on a fun journey of self discovery and increase your self awareness so you can be your best self. Just brilliant!!"

“Learning about my brain and how it's wired really helped me get behind myself, learning to give back so much compassion for the burnt out overwhelmed shell I'd become.”
- Paula Hammond
“Absolutely fascinating to learn so much about the brain - how it works, how much we are affected by it but then to learn how we can train the brain in so many different ways. Experimenting with the different tools of art to bring about flow was really enjoyable, using processes I’d never considered before.”
