Therapeutic Coach & Transpersonal Psychotherapist

About me

Now more than ever we are looking for meaningful ways of living. Within our relationships, within the work we choose to do, with ourselves and with the world around us. These things really matter. They are the difference between a life that feels rich and fulfilling and one that feels muted and misaligned.

I am a coach and transpersonal psychotherapist bringing together a unique combination of inner-enquiry and forward-gazing strategy that is deep and transformative, and aims to support you in uncovering who you really are, what you really want, and how to bring those things to life.

I am very interested in your story. Who have you become and who do you want to be? How do you engage in your relationships? What does well-being mean to you? How does it feel to be you, living your life? How would you like to feel each day? How would you like your wellness / career / relationships / world to look?

Our inherited ideas and stored-away experiences often entrap us into keeping small. By understanding our story, we can release old patterns and limiting beliefs and expand into a greater potential.

The coaching I provide is relational, warm, intuitive, non-judgemental and empowering. I believe we are capable of anything when we align with who we are and become open to possibility.

Getting Started

We will begin with a consultation to help me understand what you need and what you would like to achieve from the process. This is free of charge and without any obligation. I’m all about the relationship; if that feels good to us both we’ll then agree a duration of time working together and frequency of sessions, for which I offer a variety of options.

My Clients

These are some of the life concerns I support my clients in, and may resonate with you:

  • A sense of being lost or stuck, seeking direction and guidance
  • A desire to gain a deeper understanding of yourself
  • An urge to make positive change in any or all aspects of your life
  • A feeling that you’ve not met your full potential
  • A feeling of overwhelm by all the demands and potentialities of life
  • You may have ideas that you want to realise, but don’t know where to begin
  • A career that needs to take a new direction
  • At a crossroads with big decisions to make, or in the midsts of a challenging life transition
  • You may know that there is a part of you that needs tending to in order to move forward
  • A relationship that needs to heal, or end ~ or a new one that needs to begin
  • You may need to transform self-limiting or sabotaging patterns and scripts
  • To work on your self-confidence, self-worth, self-esteem and self-love
  • Or your health and wellbeing has taken a backseat for one day too long
  • You may have forgotten your why, your what it’s all for, your fun, or your dreams and aspirations

In my view, the way we experience our world is directly linked to how we feel about ourselves. My aim is to get you feeling good about who you are and excited for the many opportunities ahead.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have been lucky to have enjoyed a successful career-change and have now been doing the work I love for more than a decade. I am impassioned to support others in taking their own leaps.

Before retraining, I worked in advertising and PR. I chose to leave the corporate world, and eventually London, to connect more closely with people and live more closely to nature.

I have been a volunteer at Maytree, a respite centre for people in suicidal crisis and provided support to vulnerable women under the care of Kingston Women’s Centre. I have mentored students with disabilities through their time at university and have supported and coached clients through challenging life transitions, understanding and moving on from historical events, and meeting with difficult present circumstances such as bereavement, pregnancy and divorce.

I am certified in meditation, mindfulness and breath-work, and frequently bring these practices into my work with clients.

In 2014 I co-founded Transform Counselling, a not-for-profit low cost counselling service offering affordable depth therapy to those who would not otherwise have access to it. Transform was created as an answer to the lack of accessible long-term counselling for people on lower or no income, and hinges on the philosophy that emotional and psychological wellbeing should be available to all.

While I remain closely involved with Transform, today I work with my clients privately, offering coaching and mentoring set upon a subtle therapeutic foundation, designed according to their unique needs.

Further information

I practice from my home in central Berkhamsted, with free on-road parking and within a few minutes walk from from the high street and station. The space is welcoming and peaceful, and offers a comfortable refuge from daily life, where we can meet privately and gently go about our ‘work’ together.

I also offer sessions online or by phone for those who are unable to meet in person but would still like to work with me. While in-person sessions create a certain dynamic, remote sessions offer their own kind of energy that is equally as transformative.

I very much look forward to hearing from you.
