About me

Hi, I'm John.

There is one relationship that you have that will drive your thoughts, feelings, and actions - the relationship you have with yourself.

Whatever you are trying to achieve in life, the goals that you set and outcomes you desire are all influenced by how you relate to yourself. Whether you go for things and they never seem to work out. You procrastinate or overthink and then never get things done, or miss out on opportunities. Or, you struggle with something like imposter syndrome or believe that if you share your thoughts and emotions, you are a burden in some way.

I have worked with hundreds of individuals and couples over the last 18 years to help them to understand how the relationship they have with themselves impacts the relationships they have in their lives.

The beliefs you hold onto about yourself and/or relationships will lead to outcomes you experience. You may find you get stuck in certain patterns or cycles; you choose different things or people, but you always end up with the same or familiar outcomes. This can be impacted by many things, but relationships are usually the key: Whether it's from your childhood, past partners, or relationships you are currently experiencing, they all have an impact.

Have you ever noticed that your relationships follow similar patterns with the same outcomes? Perhaps someone always cheats, they back off quickly, and you don't understand why, or you never feel like their priority? All of these can impact your self-worth, esteem, and confidence levels. How does this reflect in your self-talk, on what you deserve and can have in your life?

It has been said that therapy and coaching are different, and this is true. They each seek to do different things, but sometimes you can't move forward without doing both.

My approach is called Therapeutic Coaching, and these are blended to get the best results possible. A deeper exploration of things using my counselling background and ways to move forward with coaching, in my opinion, is the best way to understand yourself and resolve any relationship issues that you are going through.

My client results are a testament to this, with several on my website and Google reviews.

1-2-1 coaching is available face-to-face in Cheshunt or online.

I look forward to hearing from you and helping you to create and attract what you want in your life.
