About me

Love your brain. Love your life.

Hi, I’m Jess. I’ve been a professional coach since 2009 and I now specialise in ADHD coaching.

I work with adults who are diagnosed with ADHD or suspect they may be, as well as families with young people with ADHD. I support individuals, parents of younger children, and parents and teens together (through joint and individual sessions). Coaching and mentoring parents is often a key part of helping young people with ADHD thrive - when the environment shifts, everything shifts.

ADHD coaching is powerful fuel for change. It helps you understand how your brain works - not how it “should” work. Together, we explore what holds you back and strengthen what helps you grow.

ADHD coaching is different from general life coaching because we focus on two types of change. I call these “water shifts” and “fire shifts.”

Water shifts are the steady, life-giving changes that support everyday life. We work on the practical realities - focus, emotional regulation, motivation, organisation, communication, and self-trust. Through a blend of coaching, mentoring, and psychoeducation, you’ll gain insight into your ADHD brain and build systems that work with you rather than against you.

Fire shifts are the bold, future-shaping changes. This is where we explore your bigger vision. What do you really want? What would life look like if you stopped masking and started owning your strengths? We clarify goals, connect to your values, and create a path forward that energises you. This is about unmasking, creativity, big-picture thinking, and daring to design a future that fits.

My approach is structured, compassionate, and strengths-based. You won’t be judged or “fixed.” You’ll be understood, challenged, and supported.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a sole parent of three young adult children (and a lively sprocker spaniel), and I am diagnosed with combined-type ADHD. My lived experience gives me deep empathy and insight into both the challenges and strengths of the ADHD brain.

Before coaching full-time, I spent 35 years working as a leader in corporate communications, culture, and people engagement. This means I understand workplace dynamics, leadership pressures, and the complexities of navigating professional environments with a neurodivergent brain.

Alongside individual and family coaching, I also work with businesses to upskill leaders and managers so that all staff and volunteers can belong, contribute, and thrive at work.

Professional qualifications include:

  • Certificate in Professional Coaching Practice (2009), Level 1 International Coach Federation (ICF)
  • Advanced ICF-accredited ADHD Coach training with the Neurodiversity Training Academy (2025) 40 CCE Units.
  • BA Honours in Art in a Community Context with Educational Studies
  • Mental Health First Aid trained
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance

I am committed to ongoing professional development and ethical coaching practice.

Further information

I offer a free initial discovery call. This is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where we explore what you would like to change and whether we feel like the right fit.

During the discovery call, or sometimes within the first session, we jointly decide whether coaching is appropriate for your needs. Coaching works best when there is mutual trust and clarity. If either of us chooses not to continue, you will be refunded for any prepaid, unused sessions.

I provide detailed notes after each session, which create a permanent record of your coaching journey.

“Jess has an incredible ability to understand exactly what you need, even when you’re not sure yourself. Her coaching feels intuitive, supportive, and deeply personal. Every session leaves me feeling more focused, empowered, and positive. It’s clear that this isn’t just ‘talking’ - it’s real, lasting change.”
