Are you feeling stressed, tired, or stuck? As a career and life coach, I work with people who want to make changes at work and/or home so they are happy :)
I enable people to successfully change roles and careers, land a job after redundancy or a career break, improve life at home, increase confidence, and transition into a new geographical location.
I love working with people from all walks of life. My clients come from diverse cultural backgrounds as well as numerous industries and professions: FAANG to charity/faith-based, senior leaders to junior staff, recent graduates to those approaching retirement.
If you want a career change we look at transferable skills, your strengths and motivations, do some career assessments and from this draw up a shortlist of options. When you know which career you want to pursue we create CVs and LinkedIn profiles which position you in your new field. In addition, we practice how you communicate your career change in your personal branding as well as how you talk about it to others in an interview setting.
Job search tools and confidence
Sessions include understanding what a right fit role is for you and how to apply so you get noticed. I create industry links to find out the latest trends and workplace needs and incorporate insights into career resource creation which I share with all my clients. This the includes latest CV best practices, interview techniques, LinkedIn profiles, personal branding, networking, and job search strategies including where to find hidden jobs as well as salary negotiation.
If you want a new direction or to improve your confidence we find out your strengths using the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment. In fact, Gallup has found that “people who do have the opportunity to focus on their strengths every day are six times as likely to be engaged in their jobs and more than three times as likely to report having an excellent quality of life in general.”
Are you feeling unsatisfied with life? This could be because what you care about has not been articulated or linked to what you are doing. Knowing your values equips you to take the right action. One of my clients who was unhappy in all areas of his life discovered that he was in the right job role, just not in the right organisation or location… 'I feel like a new person, the sideways move was definitely worth it.'
For organisations, I provide outplacement, international relocation, transition, and strengths coaching.
I am an expert
It is important for you to work with a coach you trust. I am an Accredited Master Coach with 2400+ coaching hours. Only 1% of coaches in the UK are accredited and of these, only a handful are at master level.

It is very important, when choosing a coach, that you work with someone you feel happy with. Coaching is based on trust and honesty. I always spend time chatting with potential clients first, so we can get to know each other and get an idea of how we can work together. Contact me or book into my calendar: https://calendly.com/jennycoach/15-minute-exploratory-chat?back=1&month=2023-05
Most people opt for online sessions but I can hire a room in Steyning, West Sussex for face-to-face appointments, if preferred.

The number of sessions needed depends on what you want to achieve.
For example, if you just want some CV help then one session will usually cover this. To get the tools and confidence needed to land a new right-fit job then I recommend six sessions. However, if you want a career change the number of sessions will probably be six to nine.
Please be aware that people move forward at different speeds and so your needs may differ from the norm. I always discuss what you want to achieve so you are fully aware of what it may look like both time commitment and cost-wise.

When I work
“With Jenny’s help, I have managed what seemed impossible. Not only have I found a new job but also a complete career change! Jenny helped me establish exactly why I was unhappy in my previous job, what kind of work would suit me best and gave me all the confidence I needed to do my best at an interview when I felt very low emotionally. She was utmost professional, understanding, flexible, efficient and prepared at all times. I highly recommend Jenny’s coaching to anybody who wants to achieve success.” Oksana D, Cambridgeshire.
It has been a pleasure to work in partnership with her [Jenny] to design and fine tune our aspirations for CMS… We have found Jenny to be an extremely gifted, committed and dedicated trainer, who operates with the highest integrity; enabling individuals to feel at ease, as well as sensitive to their needs. She is an excellent communicator who has sound judgement, excellent listening skills and a good sense of humour. Therefore Jenny Butter has our highest recommendation.” Melinda Staines, Head of HR, CMS
I never thought I would need the help of a coach at any point in my life. Contacting Jenny at Epiphany Life Coaching was a turning point for me. I had multiple issues, some vague answers in my mind, but no real direction. Jenny was great at pointing out my strengths and guiding me, to help me make my own decisions. Couldn’t have turned my life around without her." Stuart Wright, Surrey
