About me

Expert: An Accredited Master Coach with significant experience of career, transition, redundancy, career change, strengths and life coaching. Only 1% of coaches in the UK are professionally accredited and of that 1%, just a handful at master level.

Clients come from all walks of life - Business owners to charity workers; leaders to volunteers; youth to retired; PR directors to clinicians; vicars to parents. Both private clients and organisations consistently give excellent feedback.

Recent testimony:

“Jenny is a great career coach. She helped me in so many ways and before the end of our sessions, I found a job. Thank you, Jenny”. Iva Radojkovic.

"I found Jenny after looking at a LOT of coaches online. I checked her website against others in and around the South of England and the more I read, the more comfortable I felt. After the first session with Jenny, I felt my spirits lifted. After the second session, I saw everything going up. And since then I have felt on top of the world. I genuinely don’t think I’d of been able to do this without Jenny’s help. Look no further than Epiphany Life Coaching. 5*" Alex Stride

Do you want a new job or better work-life balance? Do you want to improve energy, confidence, health or motivation and need a coach to make it happen? Do you feel uncertain about knowing which direction to go in?

With organisations, I do outplacement, personal development, and staff coaching as well as run strengths based development workshops for managers and teams, based on Gallup's Clifton Strengthsfinder. In addition, work-life balance workshops are well received.

Each session is tailored to you. Some clients prefer to focus on just life or career coaching and others prefer to have a combination of both. Each person is unique and requires different input from me.

If you are already doing well coaching can take you from good to great. If you are struggling, life coaching can be the preventative measure needed to manage stress, unhappiness or disillusionment and get life back on track.

Coaching is very powerful and successful. My clients report consistently excellent results. I work from the premise that when you know who you are, you will know what action to take. Arising from the self-awareness and epiphanies that occur during coaching sessions, clients are able to make the right decision and are eager to take action.

Your Strengths
If you want a new direction or career change we find out your top 5 strengths using the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment. It is far easier to achieve and do well if you are starting from a position of strength. You will also enjoy your work much more. Once we know what your strengths are then we will look at different roles which suit them. In fact, Gallup has found that “people who do have the opportunity to focus on their strengths every day are six times as likely to be engaged in their jobs and more than three times as likely to report having an excellent quality of life in general.”

Are you feeling unsatisfied with life? This could be because what you care about has not been articulated or linked to what you are doing. Knowing your values equips you to take the right action. One of my clients who was unhappy in all areas of his life discovered that he was in the right job role, just not in the right organisation or location… “I feel like a new person, the salary cut was definitely worth it”.

Career, Redundancy, Outplacement Coaching

Recruiters and hiring managers require an answer to arguably just three questions. Can you do the job? Will you do the job? Are you the right fit?

Career coaching gives you to the opportunity to know your strengths, motivation and fit; decide what the next step is for you, and be able to communicate who you are and what you bring to employers.

Outcomes from coaching will be recorded and a list of non-negotiables for the right job will be developed. From this, you are able to pursue ‘fit’ openings. The coaching sessions will culminate in a tailored CV and cover letter for you to use in your first choice job. If required we will also cover job search, the importance of LinkedIN profiles, personal brand and interview techniques.

Many of my clients live and work overseas, or elsewhere in the UK, and I coach via Skype. If you are local we can meet face to face in Henfield, Steyning, Shoreham, Horsham, at Devils Dyke or at another mutually agreed location. In addition, I am available between coaching sessions via email, Skype or phone if required. It is very important, when choosing a coach, that you work with someone you feel happy with. Coaching is based on trust and honesty. I always spend time chatting with potential clients first, so we can get to know each other and get an idea of how we can work together.

Training, qualifications & experience

Jenny’s passion for coaching began after living overseas and witnessing stress and disillusionment among the expatriate community. Wanting to avert this, Jenny uses coaching as a preventative and maximising tool and works with clients to become energised and fulfilled, both at home and at work. She enjoys enabling people to become unstuck, find their fit and thrive.

Working hard to enhance the lives of people both near and far, Jenny is an International Career and Transition Coach for IMPACT Group and runs retreats at Penhurst Retreat Centre.

Before becoming a coach, Jenny worked as a BBC radio producer and reporter. Prior to that, she was a PR professional with the international aid and development agency, World Vision. She has lived in the Seychelles, Sri Lanka and New York, and currently lives in West Sussex in the UK with her husband and two children.
