About me
Throughout my career and studies, I have always been intrigued by human behaviour—initially understanding what drives people to take action through insights that inform communications and marketing. Then, in leadership roles, I managed large teams through change and influenced others. I am fascinated by what motivates people to act as they do and how I can support them in becoming the person they want to be. I combine empathy, resilience, and expertise in my work, driving change with a sense of humour to create a fun and engaging environment.
My boyfriend, family, and friends are extremely important to me, and I spend as much time as I can with them, whether travelling, trying new restaurants, or exploring culture. They guide and support me in the decisions I make in life.
Growing up in an environment that often felt unwelcoming came with its challenges, and I sometimes struggled with feeling different. Over the years, I have discovered ways to embrace my true self, and these experiences have shaped my identity and resilience.
Spending time in nature gives me energy—especially at my allotment, where I observe the changing seasons and grow my own vegetables, which helps ground me.
I enjoy gigs, theatre, and musicals, as I love live experiences. I also love learning new skills; I recently learned to sew to challenge myself, making quilts and soft furnishings around the house.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have 15 years of leadership experience in marketing and communications for charitable organisations. I hold a degree in Business with Marketing, a DipM from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a Level 5 diploma from the Management Institute, and am a Level 5 certified professional coach.
