About me

ADHD & AuDHD Career & Life Coach
*I take private and access to work clients*

I work mainly with women who are doing their best to hold everything together.

From the outside they often look like they’re coping. They’ve built careers, run businesses, managed teams or spent years trying to keep everyone else happy. But inside they’re exhausted, overwhelmed and wondering why life seems harder for them than everyone else.

That was me too.

I was diagnosed with ADHD at 45 after spending 20 years running my own recruitment businesses, managing teams and constantly feeling like I had to work twice as hard just to stay on top of everything.

Since then I’ve retrained as an ICF ADHD coach and now spend my time helping ADHDers & AuDHDers to understand how their brains work. To stop beating themselves up for the mistakes they have made, and instead lean into and really celebrate their many strengths.

Most of the individuals I have supported have or suspect they have ADHD or AuDHD (diagnosed and undiagnosed). Some run their own businesses or work in leadership roles and others work hard for companies who don't always understand or support them. The common factor is that they all want life to be easier. To stop ending every day feeling overwhelmed and burnt out. And to stop constantly feeling guilt and shame.from not being enough, or feeling too much

Together we work on things like:

• Understanding your ADHD or AuDHD and how it affects you personally.
• Managing overwhelm, emotional regulation and burnout.
• Rejection sensitivity and the strong sense of justice and fairness.
• Organisation, procrastination and getting things done.
• Boundaries, people pleasing and learning to say no.
• Impulsive spending, scrolling and other dopamine fuelled  behaviours.
• Relationships, communication and navigating work.

My coaching is relaxed, honest and practical. There will usually be laughter and sometimes there might be tears too. I don’t believe there’s one right way to do things. We work together to find strategies that fit your life rather than expecting you to fit someone else’s system.

Alongside coaching, I’m a workplace mediator, neurodiversity trainer and keynote speaker, so I understand both the personal and workplace challenges that many ADHDers and AuDHDers face.

Before coaching I spent over 20 years running recruitment businesses, so I understand the pressures of demanding jobs, leadership and trying to juggle work with everything else life throws at you.

I’ve also had plenty of life experience along the way, including surviving cervical cancer in my twenties, divorce, building and running businesses, becoming a step mum, navigating perimenopause and sharing life with my autistic husband. Those experiences don’t define me, but they do mean I understand that life isn’t always straightforward.

The clients I meet at the start of coaching are usually very different to the women I say goodbye to at the end. Seeing people gradually become happier and more confident in their own skin is the best part of what I do.
