Nick Simmonds - Empowering positive change since 2002

About us

Dynamic Coaching Ltd is a professional coaching practice founded by Nick Simmonds in 2002. Our specialism is working with owner-leaders, self-employed professionals, and independent contractors who are capable and successful — but stretched.

I'm a coach and thinking partner to those who want to lead their work, and their lives, with more intention.

My approach is grounded in partnership rather than expertise. I don't work as the expert with the answers — I work alongside you as a thinking partner, creating space where reflection leads to ideas and insight, and insight leads to action.

At the heart of most engagements is a One Page Plan: a strategic, clear, living document that captures your goals, prompts monthly reflection, and keeps you honest about what you're building. Clients find it both clarifying and motivating — and often describe it as the missing piece they didn't know they needed.

Most businesses have some elements of a Strategic Plan in place. Maybe they have most of the key elements in place, but just as you wouldn’t take a trip in a boat that was 90% watertight, an incomplete Strategic Plan can sink even well-run businesses.

I use this One Page Plan methodology with both my commercial and personal clients, and they have produced some incredible results.

Who this work is for

This coaching is particularly well-suited to:

•        Owner-leaders carrying responsibility largely on their own

•        Self-employed professionals who want more strategic direction in their work

•        Independent contractors navigating growth, transition, or a change of direction

•        Anyone who values thinking time as much as action — and wants to lead with intention rather than urgency

If you recognise yourself in any of this, we're likely to work well together.

What to expect

The first step is always a free, informal conversation — no pressure, no obligation. We explore what's happening for you, what you're hoping to achieve, and whether this kind of coaching is the right fit.

From there, we'll design a programme that reflects your goals, your pace, and the way you work best. Most clients work with me over a period of months, with regular sessions and the support of a One Page Plan to track progress and capture learning.

I also work in companies and organisations.

My work usually focuses on improving effectiveness at the individual, team and organisation level utilising my MindFit, Conscious Communication and Hidden Solutions methodologies where appropriate to improve personal performance, communication, teamwork, idea generation and strategy.

I would be happy to arrange a meeting to discuss your unique situation and challenges in order to create a bespoke proposal.
