About me
I work with people who are deeply committed to social justice and social impact, but who sometimes find there is little time to think about their own aspirations, wellbeing or make important decisions about their work and life.
When your work is meaningful and the needs around you are endless, it can be hard to step back, make sense of where you are, and think through what comes next. My coaching helps people untangle complex questions, explore possibilities, make thoughtful decisions, and work out how to move forward.
As a qualified executive and leadership coach with over 30 years’ experience as an educator, humanitarian leader and consultant, I have spent my career working alongside individuals, teams and organisations through complexity, change and uncertainty.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of learning from educators, leaders, communities and organisations working in complex circumstances to create better futures.
My coaching is shaped by these experiences. I understand the complexity of caring deeply about your work while also needing to consider your own hopes, aspirations and wellbeing.
Alongside qualifications in psychology, executive coaching and leadership, I bring experience of supporting people through complexity and change, as well as my own experience of navigating change in my personal and professional life.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a certified coach drawing on a professional background in psychology, education, leadership and international development. I hold additional, specialist coaching qualifications.
My coaching combines evidence-based practice with over 30 years' experience supporting individuals, teams and organisations to learn, develop and navigate change.
Before becoming a coach, I spent much of my career working in international development and the humanitarian field. My work involved designing and leading education programmes, mentoring, supporting leadership development and capacity-building initiatives. It was through this work that I came to understand the incredible rewards but also the complexities and pressures of careers dedicated to creating positive social impact.
And so today I work with professionals who care deeply about making a difference but look for a space to reflect, grow and make thoughtful decisions about their work and future.
Alongside my professional practice, I volunteer as a coach with Smart Works and the Humanitarian Coaching Network, supporting women and humanitarian professionals in their career development.
