About me

Hello, I'm David, a neuropositive coach and educator based in East Sussex. I support adults and families experiencing challenges related to neurodiversity, with a particular focus on helping people navigate education and making the system work better for them.

My coaching approach is person-centred, practical and strengths-based, helping clients to better understand themselves, recognise their strengths and develop strategies that work for their unique way of thinking.

I provide a supportive, non-judgemental space where clients can explore challenges, identify meaningful goals and take positive action. Whether you are navigating ADHD, feeling overwhelmed, struggling with confidence, returning to education or simply seeking greater clarity and direction, coaching can help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and move forward with purpose.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a trained Professional Life Coach, having completed my coaching training with The Coaching Academy. My coaching practice is informed by person-centred, strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming approaches.

Alongside coaching, I have over 15 years of experience working in education, higher education and learner support. I currently work as a lecturer and have previously held leadership, mentoring and coaching roles within universities, alternative provision settings and community projects. While studying, I completed undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in literature and creative writing.

My professional experience includes supporting individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including neurodivergent learners, those experiencing low confidence, people returning to education and individuals navigating significant life transitions.

As someone diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood, I also bring lived experience of neurodiversity, helping me to better understand the challenges and strengths many clients experience. My coaching combines professional training, educational expertise and lived experience to provide a supportive and empowering environment for growth and self-discovery.
