About me

                                       Clarity. Connection. Change.

I work with clients ready to invest in deep, meaningful transitions - career, identity, purpose or direction. My coaching is rooted in clinical psychology, depth therapy and will be guided by your values and enriched by our presence in the natural world. Sessions are £150 an hour, reflecting the depth of work we'll do together and the importance of it to you. If you're at a turning point and looking for a trusted guide, we can begin

  • with a free 30 minute discovery call to explore the fit
  • move to an initial in-person session in Sheffield to map the territory
  • before ongoing coaching outdoors, at a pace and frequency that supports meaningful change

Tell me...what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?" - The Summer Day, by Mary Oliver

If you're standing at a threshold - between jobs, life stages or ways of being - you may be asking what now? What has been holding you back that you want to shine a light on and let go? Where do you want to be in twelve months time? What really matters to you? What really matters to you in these difficult times and how do you reconnect with it? What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?

Not just a walk in the park...I am passionate about sharing the opportunities to connect and re-connect that being a part of nature brings us. Re-connection may be to your emotions that have been blunted by stress; to goals, aspirations and ambitions that have been obscured by the pressures of work and family life; to a value driven and purposeful life that has been weighed down by assumptions.

This is evidence based, goal directed work where we work towards your objectives; these are sometimes highlighted by obvious landmarks on the way, but are often shrouded in mist, and only emerge once we start to find the edges of our exploration together.

Clients that work well with me have often tried exploring an issue on their own, sometimes for years, but are now looking to have a trusted guide alongside them to help them find their way; to enable them to illuminate their path in new and different ways; or even to provide a space that a client can use to realize that they want to explore new paths altogether. Nature becomes the extra presence in our party and serves up surprises, metaphors, insights, connections and opportunities.

Clients experiencing a transition, whether that be between jobs, life stages, or relationships are most likely to benefit from sessions with me. I work well with individuals or teams where direction has been lost and there is a need to reconnect to purpose, clarity and values.

Other areas of coaching I deal with

As a dual accredited therapist/coach, I am able to provide both psychological therapy and coaching; how we initially set up our working contract will define the territory we initially explore. As any explorer knows, the territory is always subject to change as are the route and methods!
