Specialist ADHD coach & mentor for adults

About me

Hello, I'm Chris, a specialist ADHD coach & mentor based in Leeds & Bradford and I'm here to help adults with ADHD to thrive.

I’ll help you gain clarity on how you’re wired, drop the mask and silence the inner critic so you can live with more balance, take your career to the next step and build strategies to work with your brain rather than against it.

If you’ve arrived at this page, I imagine you’ve had an ADHD diagnosis or are coming to realise that you have ADHD. Regardless of where you are at it’s hard navigating a world built for “normal” minds.

But you don’t have to do it alone. This is a moment to work out your experience and bring clarity to your ADHD brain.

What it's like working with me

People describe me as calm, supportive, and genuinely curious with a refreshingly direct straight-talking style. Someone they can think things through with, who listens with intent and understands what you're going through.

My style is direct and supportive, honest and calm. I've got a knack for asking the right question that gets to the heart of what's going on.

No corporate jargon or coachy fluff.

I bring all of my 12 years of corporate strategy experience and over 2,000 hours of coaching to every session, sharing practical tools that might help too, plus the accountability needed to make changes stick.

Who I Work With And Where We Might Focus:

We can work in lots of different ways but people typically explore these 3 areas:

Living with your ADHD

Gain clarity on how you're wired, drop the mask, silence the inner critic and build your own toolbox of strategies to work with your ADHD brain. You’ll understand your ADHD experience, identify ways to work with your executive function challenges and arm yourself with the actions to work with your ADHD on purpose.

Work and your ADHD

Navigating the world of work as neurodivergent professional can feel isolating. You don’t have to work it out alone. Together we’ll explore practical strategies, workplace insight, and tailored support, so you can play to your strengths and find a better work/life balance so you can show up authentically, without the mask.

ADHD Career Changers

We’ll work to help you understand your ADHD and how this unique wiring shows in your career. I’ll help you to build a sustainable career that is truly energising, identify what success really means on your terms and, explore your skills and to build a career that allows you to perform at your authentic best. No more chaos, uncertainty or burnout.

Here are just some of the typical things we might work though:

  • Breaking through procrastination and prioritising what matters
  • Building confidence, leaning into what you're great at
  • Working with your interest-wired, dopamine-led brain
  • Finding motivation when it doesn't come naturally then staying focused
  • Managing emotions and navigating rejection sensitivity
  • Preventing burnout before it happens, setting boundaries

The Practical Details: Sessions are an hour long, usually in blocks of 6, meeting every 2 weeks, online or face-to-face, sometimes even outside walking. We don't just do the work in the session, you've got accountability and support in between because this is a partnership with check-ins over email. It's a structured and supportive space where you can work out how to work with your ADHD and build tangible strategies and tools to thrive.

I also have a regular face to face practice at Bingley Counselling Centre where we can meet confidentially.

And if you got this far, here is a little bit about me! I spent 12 years in the corporate world at companies like Intel, Equifax, and Walmart - but found that environment wasn't built for people who think differently. So I retrained as a coach, and since 2022 I've been running my own coaching, mentoring and advisory business.

Outside of work, you'll find me running along the Leeds Liverpool Canal, in the garden, or chipping away at the never-ending renovation on my house.

Testimonials

"I'm new to coaching and before meeting Chris I was skeptical about the value it could offer. How wrong I was! Working with Chris has been the single most important step I've taken this year in developing my skills and confidence as a new business owner.

Knowing that I have Chris there to guide, challenge and support me is invaluable. Working with him gives me the confidence that I'm looking after my own development as well as looking after the business in the best way possible. His ability to challenge and guide me with the right balance is the measure of a brilliant coach." – Managing Director, BCAUSAM.

“Chris is an outstanding coach. He has a great way of working things out and explaining to me what he means in a simple and meaningful way. He sees things in me I don't see and have never thought about. I like the way he can make me think about things in a new light or new way." – Developer, Redsift

“Chris has been a serious source of support in reigniting my passion for my business, following a period of significant stagnancy, sparked by a maternity leave and global pandemic. His approach is refreshingly direct and he is able to translate my meandering thoughts to get to the heart of what I am wanting to achieve. His expertise shines through in all aspects of his coaching, from challenging me to think more clearly and stretching my ambitions to get to my ‘why’. I would highly recommend working with Chris if you want to gain clarity, confidence and motivation towards your business goals!” – Managing Director, Inner Circles
