Cause and effect. Confidence in your decisions.

Have you ever wondered why things happen the way the do in your life?

Are you aware that you make decisions that unconsciously make you feel sad, hurt or just exhausted? Why do we do this?

Where does this come from?

When did it start?

Do you even recognise this is a problem, or do you label this as just part of life’s experiences?

Gary Zukav author of “The Seat of the Soul” talks about the creation of our experiences, and like creation itself, it is governed by the law of cause and effect. This in turn will shape every experience we have.

Nothing exists without consciousness. Our experiences shape the life we have. It controls what we feel, what we think and what we do.

With every experience, our intention is the key to how we react and in the decisions we make which will reshape our lives.

In Freudian psychology the definition of the “unconscious thought process” is explained as the part of the psyche lying far below consciousness and not easily raised into consciousness. It cannot be directly observed within the conscious mind, but has its own processes and deeply effects our conscious thoughts.

Our intentions are governed either from a place of love or a place of fear. When we are conscious and clear in our intentions we can shape the outcome of our future experiences. If we are unconscious in our thought process when we make decisions, we will make the same mistakes and feel the same pain over and over again.

When the desire to please dominates our lives we start neglecting the important areas within that build self-confidence, positive self-image and prevents the enjoyment of life.

We have many reasons why we don’t put ourselves first and view this as unimportant.

However if we were to stop and question ourselves as to what our intention was with this process we can change our experiences. If we continue to make decisions unconsciously it will inevitably drain our energy, motivation and focus. Preventing personal growth and development.

By neglecting ourselves the point will come when our minds and bodies just burn out. We lose perspective of what is important in life and feel stressed, anxious and even depressed. So how can we start unraveling our thought process when life seems too overwhelming and we just feel we can’t cope?

Question your emotions. Ask yourself:

  • What emotion am I feeling?
  • Why am I feeling this way?
  • If I react to the situation in the way I always do will I continue to have the same outcome?
  • If I stop and ask myself what is my INTENTION in my reaction can I consciously change my experience?
