Because I can!

I was talking to a friend the other day who was telling me about her wonderful trip to Scotland. She was planning to tour the whole of Scotland for a month using, planes, trains and coaches as she wanted to see and experience everything she could about the country. The towns, the mountains, the lochs, the villages, the islands, the castles and to get to know more about its people. I asked her what made her make that choice. Her reply “because I can!”

Have you ever dreamt of doing something or going somewhere that you feel you would really like to happen?

Have you ever asked the question, why would I want to do that? Some things may not be possible but there is always the possibility you could answer, “because I can”.

Do you keep putting up barriers as to why you can’t? Have you ever analysed those barriers to see if they could be moved away?

There is always a way round a problem. You might not see it at first but think about it and start working out a solution. Chat to your friends about it. Sometimes two heads are better than one.

Remember, you are the only one who can move yourself forward, maybe with a little help from others but you have to take the step forward, “because you can!”

If you don’t explore your dreams, they will never become a reality. So if you have a dream and want it to happen, get prepared. It is good to consider what barriers might pop up so that you can move them out of the way and look for another option.

Don’t let dreams fade away if they can become a reality. Explore all options and always be mindful of the words, because I can!
