About me

Life, Career & Wellbeing Coach    Counsellor & CBT Therapist

I am committed to working closely in partnership with my clients to enable them to remove or overcome the barriers and issues that they feel are holding them back in life, and to support them in moving forward confidently towards the achievement of their true aspirations and goals. I work with both individuals and corporate clients and provide a friendly and professional service which is tailored to the needs of each individual.

The areas of work in which I specialise include Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Relationships, Bereavement, Anger, Confidence and Self-esteem. I also support clients with Career Progression and the Development of Owner-Managed Businesses too.

I have a unique way of working successfully with clients which incorporates a combination of Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Coaching philosophies.

Background and Experience

My passion for my vocation began over 25 years ago when I studied Organisational Psychology for 3 years at Manchester University.  At that time the programme leader was Professor Sir Cary Cooper, a leading world expert on stress.

After University I began to implement my training within the financial services industry.  I held several senior roles where I was able to develop successful coaching cultures and enable individuals to achieve success by supporting them to build self confidence, belief and resilience.

I continued my professional development over the following years with training and qualifications in Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Coaching, Transactional Analysis (TA), Hypnotherapy and Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) before moving into private practice.

I now have many years experience in private practice and have worked successfully with a wide range of male and female clients, each with a unique set of circumstances and issues.
