About me

Do you wish to make a change in your life? Are you feeling overwhelmed or stressed? Thinking that you could do things differently? I work with individuals  supporting you with improving your well being, confidence, and relationships.

My background includes working closely with adults and young people facilitating learning, mentoring and advising on career choices from 20 years as a Psychology A level teacher and tutor. A change in career may need a change in vision and I can help you find your way.  I trained as a Couple Counsellor with Relate and use coaching to work effectively with couples who are planning a new phase in their lives.

I want to know what motivates you and what holds you back, to identify your strengths and clarify your values. We will find ways you can use those strengths and values to work through the challenges that you are facing, whether this is seeking new career opportunities, starting afresh after relationship issues or managing a new life transition.

There is no magic solution in coaching! You will have to be committed and it will take effort. I adapt my approach to individuals and working together we will find the method that works best for you based on your situation. You will get a greater understanding of what you really want, what gets in the way of you achieving that and how you can develop the confidence to make changes and move forward. You can learn strategies to manage stress and anxiety and develop your own work/life balance based on what you believe to be important.

Confidential coaching sessions usually last 90 minutes (except for the first free introductory meeting) and we will meet every 2 to 4 weeks. You will be able to email me between sessions when you need support. At present I am working online rather than face to face.
