About me

Do you wish to make a change in your life? Are you feeling overwhelmed or stressed? Thinking that you could do things differently? I work with individuals supporting you with improving your confidence, well being and relationships.

I will work with you to explore what motivates you and what holds you back, to identify your strengths and clarify your values. I will encourage you to use your strengths to work through the challenges that you are facing.  There is no magic solution in coaching!  You will have to be committed and it will take effort.  Working together we will find the approach that works best for you based on your situation.  You will get a greater understanding of what you really want, what gets in the way of you achieving that and how you can develop the confidence to make changes and move forward.  You can learn strategies to manage stress and anxiety and develop your own work/life balance based on what you believe to be important.

I have experience of working closely with adults and young people facilitating learning, mentoring and advising on career choices from 20 years as a Psychology A level teacher and tutor.  My qualifications include a Certificate in Coaching from the Centre for Coaching and I am an NLP Practitioner (Association for Integrative Psychology AIP). I am a member of the British Psychological Society (Special Group for Coaching Psychology) and an Associate Member of the Association for Coaching. I trained as a Couples Counsellor with Relate and use coaching to work with couples who are planning a new phase in their lives.

Coaching sessions usually last 90 minutes (except for the first introductory meeting of 1 hour) and we will meet every 3 to 4 weeks. You will be able to email me between sessions for further encouragement.
