About me
I work with women to understand what is driving their burnout and break the cycle for good
I moved from nursing to coaching after burning out as an NHS practitioner. This was a time when I was unable to share my story and experiences because of the fear of the meaning people would make of it and of me. Incompetent, not strong enough, lacking in some way. None of this was true. I had created my own internal stories many years before, and mixed with high caseloads in an under-resourced service, it led to burnout, a breakdown, and the turning point to create a better story.
I have always loved listening to people's stories, especially when spoken by the person who lived them. I've always listened deeply and always cared with the fullness of my heart. I have been able to understand people's lives through their spoken words - the words themselves, but also the tone, texture and volume of how they are spoken gives greater depth.
I've now worked as a professional coach for several years, which has deepened my passion for being witness to people's stories - their life experiences, memories, emotions, thoughts and feelings. Through exploration, excavation and experimentation, people's lives improve for the better. They get to know themselves better than ever before, able to make choices from inner knowing, self-trust and self-love. It's powerful stuff.
My approach is warm but direct. I will hold a genuinely spacious, non-judgemental space, and I will also gently challenge the stories that keep you stuck. Alongside coaching, I draw on other modalities to help surfacing and shifting the deeper beliefs and patterns sitting beneath burnout.
We usually begin with a free connection call to see whether working together feels like a good fit. From there, for those who are ready, we start with a Burnout Consultation: a thorough, unhurried assessment of what is really going on. You leave with clarity, whatever you choose to do next.
My approach is neuroinclusive and I have significant experience in supporting women with ADHD, autism, perimenopause and chronic health conditions.
Consultation and coaching sessions are offered in person at Chorlton Health Hub, Manchester, and online across the UK.

"Before I found Rebekah I was feeling incredibly sad and stuck with a lack of clarity and direction. I spent a lot of time procrastinating and putting off decisions about my future. I was settling for a life that I had been unhappy with for a long time but I didn't have the tools or motivation to change. Fast forward just a few months and with Rebekah's support I am back in the driving seat of my life and taking steps to make big changes. I have reconnected with my true self and the future is looking much more exciting!" - HS, Social Media Manager

"Hi Rebekah, thank you so much for your support over the last few months!I genuinely found our sessions really helpful. I especially liked that we checked in every session about the goals we had set and the progress we had made towards that goal. I think this helped to make sure there was always a direction to the sessions and helped me think more carefully about how to use our time.
I found the way that you supported me to reflect on and more deeply explore different issues really helpful with gentle probing and encouragement. I often felt that you picked up on things which I wasn't fully aware of, and encouraged me to be curious about these thoughts/feelings/beliefs without pressuring me to do so. Over the course of our sessions, I have become more and more empowered to advocate for myself and my needs as a neurodivergent person, so thank you for supporting me to get there 😊" - RL, Speech and Language Therapist

As I continue to build my private coaching practice this year, I also want to grow my skills and mastery in oral history - to be involved in community projects that record, exhibit and archive human lived experiences. In a world where AI is ever growing and people hand over their words and stories to be altered, or sometimes completely rewritten, I want to be part of the preservation of the human spoken story. It means everything to me.
