About me

What if family life felt calmer, more connected, and easier to navigate?

Small changes can create powerful transformations in family life.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns that don’t seem to change, or unsure how best to support yourself or your family, you are not alone. You may be navigating the challenges of ADHD, adoption, or simply the pressures of everyday family life.

Through coaching, you can gain the clarity, confidence and practical tools you need to move forward. Together we focus on what matters most to you, helping you build understanding, strengthen relationships, and create a family life that feels more balanced and connected.

With over 25 years working in education, I have dedicated my career to helping people grow, develop, and realise their potential. Supporting children, young people, and families has given me a deep understanding of the emotional and practical challenges that can arise in everyday life.

Alongside my professional experience, I also bring lived experience as an adoptive parent. This gives me a genuine insight into the complexities families can face, particularly around identity, belonging, connection, and emotional wellbeing.

I am qualified in ADHD coaching and have extensive experience supporting neurodiverse individuals and families. My work combines practical coaching tools with a counselling-informed approach, allowing me to create a safe and supportive space where individuals and families can explore challenges, build confidence, and move forward with clarity.

What will you gain?

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may feel stuck, unsure of your next step, or simply exhausted from juggling family needs, emotions, and expectations.

Coaching can help you slow things down, gain clarity, and reconnect with what truly matters. The power to change is already within you. Coaching simply helps you unlock it.

Through our work together, you can:

  • Feel calmer, clearer, and more in control
  • Build confidence and self-belief
  • Strengthen family relationships and communication
  • Develop practical strategies for ADHD and neurodiversity
  • Create healthier routines and emotional balance
  • Learn how to navigate life’s challenges in a supportive, non-judgemental space

By nurturing both the individual and the family unit, I support you in developing emotional intelligence, resilience, and stronger relationships so everyone can thrive.

Testimonials……

Motivation and family coaching

My coaching sessions with Rachel have been very helpful in many ways and I have always found our sessions to be an enjoyable experience and very productive.  Rachel has an approachable, kind and professional manner that has enabled our rapport to build and in turn I have felt at ease and comfortable when discussing my coaching goals with her.  I always left the sessions feeling really listened to. The sessions have contributed significantly to increasing my self awareness and also my confidence levels which has positively impacted on the coaching goals I have discussed with her.  This has enabled me with further clarity and many reflective moments whereby I have come up with ideas for my next steps helping me to continue to make progress. I am grateful to have met Rachel and thank her hugely for our time together.

Client’s focus: Change of Career

Rachel was incredibly insightful and patient during our coaching sessions. She helped me to dive deeper into my business and come up with innovative solutions I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to discover. Because of this I have created a fantastic website, attracted more clients and feel more confident in continuing to grow my practice. She was always relaxed, non-judgemental and brought her positive energy and humour too. I thoroughly enjoyed our sessions and highly recommend her as a coach. Thanks Rachel!

Personal Development Coaching

I really enjoyed the sessions and found them very helpful. I tend to be quite guarded on personal matters and find it difficult to open up to people unless I trust them. I have no such issues with Rachel. Her calm and relaxed approach set me at ease from the first minute we were together, and I found it very easy to open up. She’s confident and a natural in the role in my opinion. Rachel’s questions helped me explore some career and life goals and helped me process some feelings I had held back, in particular to my work and career. I left feeling more focused and motivated than when I arrived.

Family Development Coaching

I have really enjoyed my time working with Rachel over our 13 sessions together. Rachel was professional throughout all of our sessions and I found it easy to build a natural rapport with her.  This enabled me to get the most from each session.  I also felt comfortable being open and honest during our time together, which was key to me succeeding.

Within the sessions, Rachel allowed me space and time and knew when it was appropriate to challenge me, this helped me gain some great insights along the way and would generate some ideas that I wouldn’t have always considered.  She also helped me identify some limiting beliefs I had around some goals and we worked on reframing language. Rachel helped to keep me focused, broke my goals into manageable steps, so I was making consistent progress in the right direction.  Working with Rachel was a pleasure. I would have no hesitation in recommending her.
