MY COACHING STYLE:
My coaching style is to listen and learn more about your situation and then plan a programme tailored just for you. It often involves learning key mindset-skills (such as cognitive behavioural coaching), so that you become more aware of how your unconscious thoughts and beliefs may be holding you back, and discover new objectives and healthier ways of thinking that take you towards your goals. It could involve re-evaluating your values and aligning your goals and actions to them. I might also introduce some mindfulness and self compassion coaching, if that feels right for you.
I started my career working for Government Ministers in Westminster, before moving into PR and Marketing, working in television and radio. But I had an itch to be an entrepreneur and that took me on a journey to set up a business, working with my husband and growing it into a large award-winning tourism company.
Yet despite my successes, I spent many of my early working years battling low self esteem, which for me led to perfectionism and never feeling good enough.
I went on to win the East of England Businesswoman of the Year Award, and to mentor new businesswomen. But whilst success came to me, my low self esteem and perfectionism drove me to work harder and harder until I eventually reached burnout. That wake-up call taught me many important life lessons, and I'm so grateful for it! I learnt CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), how to meditate, started practicing daily yoga, developed self-compassion and brought a happier balance to my life!
Now I want to share the tools that helped me by helping people from all walks of life to achieve success, in balance in other areas of their lives so that they can feel happier and more fulfilled.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR INTRODUCTORY FREE SESSION
I offer a free 45 minute introductory session by Zoom, Skype, Facetime or phone so that we can both see if coaching is going to be helpful to you. The rapport between you and your coach is important and thus free taster session gives you an opportunity to see if I’m right for you.
In this session we’ll:
- Find out where you currently are in your life
- Explore what you might like to work on
- Gain a better understanding of where you’d like your life to be and what your values are
- Consider any obstacles, barriers, beliefs and thoughts that are holding you back from making changes
- Give you a opportunity to ask questions and find out more about my coaching

I am a member of the Association for Coaching and trained at the Centre for Coaching in London.

I have many years experience as an entrepreneur and business leader, founding a start up company in 2006 and growing this into a highly successful and respected award-winning Suffolk business. During that time I ran it with my husband and this brings a unique perspective to my business coaching.
I won the 'East of England Businesswoman Entrepreneur of the Year' in 2011-12 and am a motivational speaker at business events. I have been a Board Member of Suffolk Businesswomen, Chairman of my local business association, and I am passionate about providing opportunities and support for women in business.
I am a Mentor for the Prince’s Trust, mentoring young people who are starting up their own businesses.
I also have an interest in health and wellbeing. I enjoy running and cycling, eating healthily, and looking after the mind-body connection.
Association for Coaching
The Association for Coaching is one of the leading professional bodies for Coaches and Organisations.
The Association is made up of a number of different membership categories, e.g. Associate Member (AMAC), Member (MAC), Accredited Member (AC Accred), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Accredited Members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
The Association has a Code of Ethics & Good Practice and a Complaints Procedure.

Free initial online session
I offer a free and no obligation 45 minute introductory session. This is so that we can both see if coaching is the right path for you and will help deliver the results that you would like to see in your life.
Sessions usually take place on Zoom, Skype or Facetime. This gives you the freedom to be at home somewhere quiet with a cup of tea, or, if you are at work, to find a quiet meeting room where you won't be disturbed. It also means you have no travel time, so you can more easily fit it into your day!
I recommend a package of four to eight sessions, once a fortnight, but can be flexible if you have different needs.
