Make A Change

Traditional Life Coaching on a specific area of life such as money, career, relationships or health.

Unstuck

A more structured coaching program that enables you to create a vision for your life.

Reiki Healing

The unblocking of stuck energy that helps you to improve creativity, increase calm and feel hope.

In all of my work I use meditation to help you access a creative and resourceful state from where life’s challenges and problems can be viewed without judgement.

Meditations are provided as MP3’s for you to use at home.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an advanced coach with over 1500 hours experience and qualifications in Life, Performance (Work/Career) and Transpersonal Coaching. I am a qualified Reiki healer. I also create and deliver coaching based sessions for small groups – including workshops for unemployed young people, writers, actors, artists, musicians and community groups.

Every one of us has unique gifts and talents to offer to the world. My passion is helping people do this through listening, coaching and healing.

I began coaching 10 years ago after previously working as a Primary School teacher in Liverpool and a Careers Adviser in Bootle. I have created and delivered coaching programs for NHS Sefton, Sefton Youth Offending Team and Work Solutions in Manchester.

I coach people from all walks of life – current clients include managers, factory workers, academics, artists, social entrepreneurs, stay at home dads and self-employed freelancers. I am a member of the Association for Coaching and I receive monthly coaching supervision.

Recent testimonials

“I went to see Matt mainly as I was seriously stressed about an upcoming event. We worked on that specific event and I have even imagined the event using meditation and now feel much more comfortable with what is to come in my personal life. Taking the time to think and understand things properly has really benefited me.”— DL, Feb 20

“Matt is an amazing life coach. My sessions with him have helped me truly move forward with life. I now know my purpose and as result I am a much more confident and fulfilled individual. I look forward to working with him again. ” — JD, Feb 20

“Matt is completely down to earth, approachable and professional. Working with Matt helped me to realize my strengths, gain clarity and make wonderful changes. I can’t really put into words how much my life has changed for the better. ”— LW March 20

“I saw Matt for 6 weeks and completed his ‘Unstuck Program’ and found it really beneficial. I am someone who has felt ‘stuck in a rut’ in the past and someone who gets very anxious about events, but Matt has given me the tools to break this cycle which I feel I’ve been in for years. He’s really easy to talk to and friendly which really helped me to relax and I really enjoyed the sessions" — JM, Feb 20

“I’m not naturally someone who feels comfortable with coaching but was keen to try it. I’ve read various books and tried podcasts to change the way I think and get out of various holes I’ve felt in over the years but felt things are generally the way they are and that’s it. After a few sessions with Matt though that finally seemed to change. Matt’s produced some tools which we worked through over the UNSTUCK program, as well as that we meditated together and he also sent me some to do alone at home. I found the tools really challenged and changed the way I think and meditating seemed to tap in to parts of my conscious I haven’t before.” — TF March 20

“I’ve felt under pressure for a while and I am the world’s best procrastinator but since the sessions I feel able to box things off, I’m not letting things build up and stress me out and generally my anxiety has reduced. When I do get stressed or anxious I now seem to notice quicker and I can manage it where as in the past I could just be a grump all day at times. If you want to try something to get out of whatever ‘rut’ you feel in or just want to take some time for self-improvement I’d highly recommend Matts sessions. Thanks for all your help"                     — SW, March 20
