About me
Welcome to ADHD Reframed.
I provide specialist, neuroaffirming ADHD coaching for adults, young people and families, with a particular focus on helping people understand how ADHD affects their everyday life and develop strategies that work with - rather than against - their brain.
My approach combines ADHD coaching with a strong background in psychology, special educational needs, counselling and pastoral support. I understand that ADHD is about far more than organisation or productivity. It can affect emotional regulation, executive functioning, relationships, confidence, motivation, sensory needs, work, education and a person's sense of identity.
I work collaboratively with each client rather than offering a one-size-fits-all programme. Coaching may explore areas including:
- Executive functioning, organisation and planning
- Procrastination, motivation and task initiation
- Emotional regulation and overwhelm
- Rejection sensitivity and self-esteem
- Late diagnosis and understanding your ADHD identity
- Workplace challenges and reasonable adjustments
- Relationships, communication and boundaries
- ADHD in women and the impact of hormonal changes
- Education, transitions and support for young people
- Building sustainable routines and strategies
I offer individual ADHD coaching as well as structured coaching programmes, including support that may be funded through Access to Work.
Sessions are available online via Microsoft Teams, meaning I can work with clients throughout the UK.
My approach is compassionate, practical and evidence-informed. Most importantly, coaching is a collaborative process: we identify what is getting in the way, understand why it is happening and develop realistic strategies that fit you and your life.
Training, qualifications & experience
My professional background spans psychology, special educational needs, counselling, mental health, education and ADHD coaching.
Qualifications and professional development include:
- BSc Psychology and Special Educational Needs (1st)
- Level 2 Diploma in Counselling
- Specialist ADHD Coaching training in a Hospital School Setting working with vulnerable children and their families.
- Neuroscience Coaching training
SEND-focused training and professional development - Mental Health First Aid training
- Ongoing professional development in ADHD, executive functioning and neurodiversity
- I am a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and hold professional insurance for my coaching practice.
Alongside my private ADHD coaching work, I have extensive professional experience supporting children, young people and families with complex educational, emotional and neurodevelopmental needs. My work has included pastoral and welfare support, safeguarding, SEND, EHCP processes and multidisciplinary working with education, health and other professionals.
This experience allows me to bring together psychological understanding, ADHD-specific knowledge and practical coaching strategies while remaining clear about the boundaries of coaching. ADHD coaching is not a diagnostic or clinical treatment service, and where needs fall outside the scope of coaching I will appropriately signpost to relevant health or therapeutic professionals.
My practice is neuroaffirming, person-centred and trauma-informed, with an emphasis on recognising strengths as well as understanding the challenges associated with ADHD.
