About me
I work primarily with experienced teachers and education professionals who care deeply about their role but sense that something is shifting in their career.
Many of the people I work with still value teaching, but are beginning to question how they want the next phase of their working life to look. They may be exploring ways to reshape their week, reduce their teaching commitment, or create space for other interests or projects alongside their role in education.
Some want to adjust their workload or reduce their days. Some are exploring additional roles or professional interests. Others are considering a longer-term transition but want to approach it thoughtfully and strategically.
I’m a qualified coach and a part-time secondary school teacher currently working in the classroom. A few years ago I chose to reduce my teaching days to create more balance and variety in my own week, combining teaching with other work that feels meaningful to me. I still value being in school, but my working life now feels more spacious and sustainable.
Because I’m living in this world myself, I understand the realities of school life and the practical considerations involved. Change needs to work financially, professionally and personally.
My coaching provides a calm, structured space to think things through properly, weigh options and move forward in a way that feels measured and realistic. There is no pressure to leave teaching and no assumption that you should stay. The focus is on shaping a working life that feels sustainable for you.
How I work
My coaching is practical, grounded and future-focused. Sessions are focused and purposeful. We look at what is realistically possible alongside your workload, family life and responsibilities. Often this work begins by creating space to think properly. To step back from the pace of school life and consider what you want from the next stage of your career. What needs to stay. What may need to shift. And what could exist alongside your current role.
I don’t push people towards dramatic decisions. We work steadily, building confidence and momentum so that any changes feel intentional rather than reactive. This work is about shaping your mid-career chapter with confidence, not escaping it.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Life Coaching Diploma from the Coaching Academy, which included structured tutor-led training, observed coaching practice, and online workshops focused on developing core coaching skills. As part of the diploma, I completed supervised coaching hours with real clients, alongside reflective work and ongoing feedback to ensure ethical and effective practice.
Alongside my coaching qualification, I have worked as a secondary school teacher since 2007. My career in education has involved supporting young people and adults through challenge, change, pressure, and transition, often in complex and emotionally demanding environments.
This combination of professional coaching training and long-standing experience in education strongly shapes how I work. I bring a calm, reflective, and realistic approach, with an understanding of both personal development and the practical constraints of working life.
I continue to engage in reflective practice and professional development to ensure my coaching remains supportive, thoughtful, and client-led.

Areas of coaching I deal with
Other areas of coaching I deal with
Many of the people I work with aren’t in crisis. From the outside, things look fine. They’re experienced, capable and respected in their role.
But internally, something feels different.
It might be a growing sense that work is taking more than it’s giving. A quiet restlessness. A question about whether the current pace is sustainable long term.
Some are considering how they want the later stage of their career to look. Others are reflecting on what they want more of in life beyond the timetable and term dates.
Coaching offers a steady space to step back from the daily rhythm of school life and think more intentionally about what comes next.
Fees
£550.00 - £950.00
Free initial telephone or online session
Additional information
My coaching fees range from £550 to £950, depending on the level of support you choose.
I work in structured packages rather than single sessions. This allows us to build momentum and make thoughtful progress over time, rather than trying to resolve complex decisions in one conversation.
Packages include:
6 sessions – £550
9 sessions – £750
12 sessions – £950
Each package includes a complimentary intake session. This is a relaxed conversation where we explore what’s prompting you to seek support, what you’d like to change, and whether working together feels like the right fit.
There is no pressure to commit. We move forward only if it feels aligned for both of us.

Why Work With Me
If you work in education, speaking to someone who genuinely understands the system makes a difference.
I’m not coaching from the sidelines. I’m still in schools, navigating the same expectations, responsibilities and realities that teachers and education professionals manage every day. That means our conversations stay grounded in what is actually possible.
Clients often say they feel understood quickly. There is no need to justify the pressures or explain the culture of schools. We can move straight to what matters.
Coaching offers a structured space to step back from the pace of term time and consider your next steps with care. Whether that means strengthening your current role, reshaping how you work, or preparing for a future transition, the focus is always on decisions that are thoughtful and sustainable.
There is no fixed agenda and no expectation that you arrive with answers. We start where you are and move forward in a way that feels steady and considered.
