About me

Laura Howes | ADHD Coach, Specialist Neurodiversity Coach and Trauma-informed Coaching Practitioner | Online coaching across the UK and internationally

You may have spent much of your life feeling misunderstood, masking who you are, or wondering why everyday tasks seem so much harder for you than they appear to be for everyone else.

Perhaps you've heard phrases like, "Why don't you just..." more times than you can count.

Why don't you just get organised? Focus. Reply to that message. Start the task. Remember the appointment.

The truth is, if it were that simple, you would already be doing it.

I'm Laura, a specialist neurodiversity coach and trauma-informed coaching practitioner. I specialise in supporting individuals with ADHD, Autism, AuDHD and/or Dyslexia to thrive - both personally and professionally.

Whether you have a diagnosis, are self-identifying, or are beginning to explore the possibility that you may be neurodivergent, with me, you'll find a coaching space where you are welcomed, validated and understood.

I know how isolating it can feel to belong to one minority community, let alone several. If you're navigating the intersection of neurodivergence and LGBTQIA+ identity, you may also have experienced misunderstanding, discrimination or judgement from different directions.

My coaching space is intentionally inclusive, psychologically safe and free from judgement. You don't need to explain or justify who you are here, you simply get to be yourself.

Many of the people I work with struggle with executive functioning. This isn't about intelligence or motivation - it's about the brain's ability to plan, prioritise, organise, manage time, regulate emotions, control impulses, remember information, stay flexible when plans change and maintain focus and attention.

Executive functioning challenges can affect almost every area of life, including:

  • Planning and prioritising daily tasks
  • Time blindness and feeling constantly behind
  • Emotional regulation
  • Memory and organisation
  • Motivation and task initiation
  • Focus and attention
  • Self-esteem and confidence
  • Self-belief
  • Relationship management
  • Friendships and family relationships
  • Work and career progression
  • Managing everyday responsibilities.

For many people, every day can feel like an uphill battle. You may wonder why everyone else seems able to keep on top of life while you're simply trying to get through the day. These experiences are incredibly common, and you're not alone.

My coaching is entirely client-led and tailored to you. Together we'll develop strategies that work with your brain, rather than expecting you to fit into systems that were never designed for the way you think. We'll build on your strengths, develop self-advocacy skills, improve confidence and create practical approaches that feel sustainable, not overwhelming.

I support clients experiencing:

  • ADHD
  • Autism
  • AuDHD
  • Executive functioning difficulties
  • Demand avoidance
  • Emotional dysregulation
  • Low self-esteem and confidence
  • Relationship challenges
  • Workplace difficulties
  • Burnout
  • Motivation challenges
  • Identity exploration
  • Life transitions

Whether your challenges are showing up in your relationships, your work, your studies or simply in getting through everyday life, we'll work together to help you understand yourself with greater compassion and build strategies that genuinely work for you.

Above all, I want you to leave our sessions feeling heard, understood and empowered. You don't need to mask, apologise or explain yourself here. Together we'll explore what works for you, strengthen your confidence, build self-belief and help you create a life that feels more manageable, authentic and fulfilling.
