About me
I'm Kate, an Empowerment Coach supporting women to gain clarity, reconnect with their values, and build confidence and self-trust.
I specialise in life transitions and career change.
My coaching space is for you if you are:

Training, qualifications & experience
With 20 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector, I have worked with women experiencing domestic abuse and walked alongside them, helping to build their confidence, self-esteem, and self-belief. I have taught women how to develop coping strategies and healthy habits to nurture their wellbeing, enabling them to become “unstuck” and recognise their options. I currently coach women, from stay-at-home moms to those seeking career change or progression. I support them to recognise their transferable skills, overcome barriers and reach their employment goals.
I am an experienced group work facilitator, using CBT and NLP techniques to address and overcome negative thinking and unhelpful behaviours. I teach mindfulness, relaxation techniques and guided visualisation to promote a feeling of calm and to refocus and align goals and purpose.
I have a natural ability to motivate and inspire women to experience meaningful "lightbulb moments". I am passionate about coaching women who have lost direction to navigate change and rediscover who they are. I help those seeking clarity to take small steps, listening, and encouraging them to gently shift position within their own timeframe. My coaching has resonated with many women, helping them to believe in their abilities and follow a different path to fulfilment.
Qualifications:
I hold an Advanced Life Coaching Level 4 Diploma and am also qualified to Level 3 in Counselling, in which I utilise active listening skills, empathy and a non-judgemental approach. I also hold a Level 3 Certificate in Employability Skills.

The Association for Coaching is one of the leading professional bodies for Coaches and Organisations.
The Association is made up of a number of different membership categories, e.g. Associate Member (AMAC), Member (MAC), Accredited Member (AC Accred), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Accredited Members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
The Association has a Code of Ethics & Good Practice and a Complaints Procedure.
