About me
I coach senior women through the moments that matter: the return to leadership after maternity leave, the late-diagnosis ADHD that suddenly explains everything and changes nothing, the promotion that feels like it should be a celebration but isn't, the quiet realisation that the strategies that got you here are the ones now holding you back.
My clients tend to find me at a transition point. Some are coming back from parental leave and trying to work out who they are now in a role that has carried on without them. Others are senior leaders facing organisational change, considering redundancy, or quietly asking themselves whether the next promotion is really the answer.
What clients tell me they value is that I cut through complexity quickly. I have spent a career in senior commercial leadership and I understand the systems and politics you're navigating, which means we don't waste sessions on me catching up. I bring warmth and directness in equal measure, and I'll ask you the questions you've been avoiding asking yourself.
Although my niche is senior women and the transitions above, I also coach more broadly across leadership development, executive presence, redundancy, and career inflection points for clients of any gender who feel my approach fits what they need. The free chemistry call exists precisely so we can both work that out before committing.
How we work together
We start with a free chemistry call to see whether we're a fit. Most clients then commit to a programme of six to ten sessions, scoped to the work you want to do. Sessions are usually online, occasionally in person if you're within reach of Banbury and would prefer it. I work internationally and I'm comfortable across time zones.
What clients leave with
Greater clarity about what they actually want, which is rarely the thing they walked in saying. Stronger self-knowledge, leaning towards taking action with a level of clarity they didn't expect. A more honest relationship with their own ambition. Practical strategies they can apply on Monday morning, grounded in the realities of senior corporate life rather than coaching theory.
Training, qualifications & experience
My coaching is grounded in positive psychology, neurodiversity-informed and a person-centred, action-oriented approach. I draw on twenty-five years of senior commercial leadership in global publishing, where I led transformation programmes across a six-hundred-strong marketing organisation, alongside formal training in coaching, psychology, and human resources.

The free chemistry call exists for both of us. It's a chance for you to see whether my approach fits what you need, and a chance for me to make sure I'm the right coach for the work you want to do. There's no obligation, and if I'm not the right fit I'll do my best to suggest someone who is.
For programmes of six to ten sessions, fees are typically scoped at the start so you know what you're committing to. I work internationally via video and welcome in-person sessions for clients within reach of Banbury.
About my journey as a coach
I spent over twenty years in global publishing as part of the senior leadership team, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer. My career spanned marketing, HR, and organisational change, and I led transformation programmes and people-centred development work across a six-hundred-strong marketing organisation. My team and I partnered with leaders across the company to help people thrive through periods of significant change.
Coaching became central to that work, and over time it became clear that it was the part I cared most about. In 2023 I founded We Are Firestarter, a practice focused on transformational change through coaching, leadership development, and team programmes.
I am a lifelong learner, with a particular interest in how people navigate change well. That curiosity has taken me through business, HR, mental health, psychology, and coaching, and continues to shape how I work. Coaching has always been the cornerstone of my leadership philosophy, and it remains at the heart of how I work with the senior women I coach today.
