About me
If you are going through a big transition, you might find yourself questioning your identity and life choices - otherwise known as an “existential crisis”. Signs you might be having an existential crisis include feeling overwhelmed, lonely and unmotivated, accompanied by symptoms of anxiety, depression and obsessive worry.
This often occurs after major life events; the big ones you may have heard of include after redundancy, the death of someone you love, diagnosis of a serious or life-threatening illness, or following a divorce. However, for me and others, it sneaks up on you in other ways.
Perhaps you’ve just got married, and you’re struggling to adapt to your new identity and the shift in expectations. Maybe you’re going through a separation at a stage and age in your life that has completely shaken the foundations of your world. Perhaps you are battling with big questions like ‘should I have children?’, ‘can I have children?’, ‘When will I have children’?
Maybe you’re struggling to adapt to your new identity and role as a parent. Wondering how you will sustain your career ambitions with parenthood.
Whatever it is, If you’re feeling lost, unsure or navigating intense feelings of self-doubt, you’re not alone.
My Coaching offers:
- Time to talk and tell someone how you are feeling, uninterrupted.
- Space to share what you are thinking and feeling without judgement.
- Space to explore what you want with no expectations placed upon you.
- Someone to ask you those important and sometimes scary questions.
- Space to hold hope and excitement for your future.
We'll put together a plan to help you move forward quickly and give you an extra level of accountability to commit to doing what you say you want to do.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified as a Social Worker in 2013 and have spent over a decade working in child protection and adolescent services, supporting hundreds of children and families through major life crises and changes.
In 2017, I became a Practice Educator, mentoring students through their early careers and helping colleagues navigate burnout in emotionally demanding roles.
Since 2020, I’ve managed an edge-of-care service, supervising a team working to prevent adolescents from entering foster or residential care and helping them return home when possible. I am a qualified Practice Educator and offer some mentoring.
In 2024, I trained as a Coach (Level 5, EMCC-registered), offering 1:1 coaching to employees seeking support with confidence, self-esteem, and career progression.
