About me
I'm a well-qualified and experienced coach, specialising in coaching leaders, executives and business owners with ADHD or other neurodivergences, who want to achieve a better balance between their professional performance, workload (which is also usually very high) and personal wellbeing and lifestyle (which is often suffering as a result).
Coaching with me is about having illuminating conversations that help you find new perspectives, make decisions, and develop new ways of working and being that will ensure you get the change you want – feeling back in control, and able to perform at a high standard, without feeling guilty or burning out.
The sorts of things I can help you with are:
- Improving management of heavy workload and reducing the long hours that may have resulted
- Developing strategies to support performance and overcome neurodivergent challenges with time management, procrastination, productivity, organisation, and variability in focus, energy & motivation - at work, at home, and in life in general
- Improving communication and managing relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Overcoming imposter syndrome and developing greater self-confidence
- Reducing stress and improving how you manage stress when it arises
- Developing strategies to help you manage high emotions
- Developing your career or business in a way that better fits with your own personal pattern of neurodivergent strengths and challenges, and the lifestyle you want
- Better understanding your strengths, how to work with them and developing the confidence to do things your own way
- Developing and managing boundaries that support you to have a better overall wellbeing and work life balance.
In working together, my approach is predominantly solutions-focused and largely cognitive-behavioural in approach, being grounded in evidence-based approaches and models from positive psychology, clean language and transactional analysis. I aim to offer a balance of support and challenge that you will find inspiring and confidence-building, as we throw new light onto the challenges you face.
My coaching clients work in a range of roles and industries, but most are business owners or senior professionals in law, medicine, higher education, fin-tech, retail or the public sector, or are middle/senior leaders in medium to large organisations.
I work with clients with ADHD, autism, dyslexia and dyspraxia (or any combination of these), whether or not a diagnosis has been made. I also often work with people who have been recently diagnosed or are currently seeking a diagnosis or assessment, and want support to come to terms with a new view of themselves.
How do we get started?
Please get in touch with me to arrange a time for an informal initial conversation, which we can do by phone or on Zoom/Teams.
We’ll talk through your needs, get to know each other a little and decide whether we’re a good fit to work together, and then talk through the nitty gritty practicalities like costs and frequency of sessions.
If you’d like to find out a bit more about me, my coaching, my experience and why I decided to leave a successful corporate career to become a self-employed coach, you’ll find more about all of these on my website at https:/lifeatlascoaching.com.
