If you’re new to coaching, I have a resource on my website that gives you a good overview of what to expect, and how to find a coach that is a good ‘fit’: https://www.thetripleshift.org/guide
My approach to coaching integrates strengths-based, cognitive-behavioural, Gestalt, and systemic coaching, selecting the best approaches to support you.
I will typically meet with you for a no-obligation 30-minute discovery call to gain a clear understanding of what you want to change or achieve through coaching. We’ll agree on the number and length of our coaching sessions, where those take place (in person/online), and any other information that will create the best environment for you to do your best thinking.
Within each session we then work together to agree the goal(s) for that session, what degree of challenge you are looking for, and how I can best support you on the topic as your coach. Depending on the theme of the session and the way in which you prefer to work, I may suggest a particular tool either to help gather useful information or to assist with thinking about the topic or theme.
My aim is to create a space where you feel a deep sense of trust and psychological safety that will enable you to do your very best thinking and potentially tackle challenging emotions or topics.
For many of us, midlife throws up some serious challenges and makes us think deeply about our purpose for the 'second half' of our lives.
Time invested now can mean the difference between thriving in the 'Third Quarter' of what for many of will be a 100-Year Life, and trudging on with just 'good enough' whilst feeling increasingly frustrated and unfulfilled.

Kind words from past clients:
“I would highly recommend working with Emma as a coach. I've always been a big fan of coaching and got so much out of it. This time was no different although the focus of my coaching sessions was quite a change having just taken the plunge to set up my own company. I worked with Emma to explore some aspects of strategy and new business and found her approach worked so well to help me tease out new ideas, actions plans and inspirations and to unblock my thinking around a few trickier areas. Emma put me at ease from the outset, gave me both structure and space to gain the clarity I needed and to leave each session with clear next steps to achieve my goals.”
“Emma helped me create a mantra that ‘this isn’t permanent’ but also enabled me with the map to see that although the situation is complex and overwhelming, that actually, when it is broken down, I am addressing all the essential areas in sustainable and appropriate ways.”
“Emma has carefully guided me through all sorts of challenges - most that are only in my head! In every session I’ve made really good progress, breaking down unhelpful self-beliefs and giving me a different perspective. If you need someone to help you work through your thinking, I can thoroughly recommend Emma. She’s personable, kind, empathic and blooming brilliant.”
