'BrawBrains for BrawFamilies': helping families to thrive
It will be a fun and very interactive family friendly introduction to understanding each other and communicating better. Children eight years plus.
About this event
We have been delivering exciting youth workshops and programmes across Scotland and are now launching our latest programme supporting families who want to thrive personally and as a family unit. The comprehensive programme will support parents/carers and children/teens over the age of eight years and involves workshops and coaching with the parents/carers and children/teens both separately and together as a family. Themes include understanding our brain, communication, vision and values for the family, strengths and teamwork, beliefs, language and playfulness.
As part of the launch, we will be offering a free taster workshop at Good in Buchanan Galleries (https://buchanangalleries.co.uk/shops/good) on 31st July. It will be a fun and very interactive family friendly introduction to understanding each other better with the focus being on how our brains work and support us, and what that means for the family.
With the year of young people's word for the year being 'braw' we are calling it 'BrawBrains to support BrawFamilies'!
** Please note this is an event for families so should include at least one parent/carer and one child. Please book one ticket per person attending so we can track how many people are attending. So if it's you and two children, please book three tickets. **
There will be two workshop options 11.00-12.00 and 14.00-15.00.
11am workshop
