Are you achieving your maxiMUM potential?

In the event of an emergency, it’s no coincidence during the pre-flight safety demonstration, that parents are advised to always put their own mask on before they sort out those of others – including their own children.

Full-time mums can find it challenging to secure the space, pace and peace to get clear about what they want and how to achieve it. And, while it may seem entirely natural to put the needs of others before their own, whatever the circumstances, conventional wisdom suggests that the happier we are, the happier those around us will be. So it is really important to look after yourself and feed your own aspirations and dreams and not just those of everyone else.

With this in mind, Bath-based mum and life coach, Sally Bradford, founder of The Hen House Life Coaching Practice has created a tailored, affordable, series of workshops for full-time mums that launch in Bath this autumn.

The PACE (Purpose, Achievement, Control and Energy) Life Coaching Package is designed for mums who are keen to set goals and improve their whole world, whether that is through a return to work or to find the space or energy to actually plan what you want to achieve – for you and your family.

Sally says: “Many full time mums no doubt worked before they had kids and were probably pretty clear about what their employer wanted from them and what doing a good job looked like.

"The challenge when they’re a full time mum is that there is no formal job description and what is expected of them can be somewhat assumed. This can mean that they don’t always now recognise what success looks and feels like - a sense of achievement can sometimes seem rarer than hen’s teeth - and, because the primary purpose of being at home is to take care of their children, they may feel guilty about having any ‘me’ time, whatever the purpose. On the flip-side though, they’re the boss now so can decide what success looks like!”

Run during school hours and hosted in the relaxed surroundings of the Hare and Hounds on Lansdown, the first workshop kicks off on 12th November for five consecutive weeks. The workshops also provide the chance for mums to meet and support other like-minded women locally.

Places will be limited and can be booked via eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/life-coaching-workshops-for-bath-mums-start-12th-november-2014-tickets-13334073573
