Supervision details
I offer individual or group-based reflective practice supervision sessions which provide a space for professionals of any background to reflect on the impact of their professional roles on their wellbeing and relationships, and vice versa. Reflective practice supervision sessions are less goal-directed than coaching, as their focus is to build self-awareness in order to enhance personal insights, good practice and personal resilience, which will minimise the impact of the stressors and changes we face in our working lives. Reflective practice supervision will help a group of professionals (such as a team) to build better relationships with each other that are founded on trust and respect for each other’s perspectives. This will enhance team as well as individual performance.
I also offer supervision, coaching and mentoring to psychological practitioners who wish to develop their clinical skills and careers further. If you are an assistant psychologist, a trainee psychologist or qualified psychologist or psychological therapist, I can offer you a series of sessions to help you think about the challenges you face in your job or career. As a mentor, I am able to offer you guidance based on my career as someone who has worked in a variety of fields and roles, which include forensics, health, management, leadership, service and business development and coping with organisational change. I will help you navigate through potential career choices and explore with you options for enhancing your skillset.
I am registered with the Association for Business Psychologists, and I am also a Chartered Coaching Psychologist and a Registered Professional Practice Supervisor with the British Psychological Society. I am registered on the British Psychological Society Registers as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, Chartered Coaching Psychologist and Supervisor.
Sessions are offered online, although where there is a requirement to work with teams, these sessions can be delivered online or in-person at the team's workplace.
For more than 120 years, BPS have championed psychology, psychologists and the wider psychological professions. Their register of Coaching Psychologists has been developed to provide recognition for coaching psychologists and the profession of coaching psychology, allowing registrants to differentiate their services as a coaching psychologist and gain acknowledgement of their coaching psychology expertise.
