I qualified as a supervisor in 2022 after nearly 15 years of coaching. When we work one on one with others, getting external support from supervision is critical. To offer the best service to our clients we have a duty of care to look after our selves as practitioners. Supervision however is so much more than just exploring cases, it's an opportunity to learn by stepping back and looking more objectively at yourself and the way your coach. Outside of self-development and case work, I encourage any coaches who might be exploring their philosophical approach and who are particularly curious about my preferred philosophy, existentialism.
