Supervision details
Supervision provides a space to reflect on your work as a coach, to celebrate successes, gain insights and new perspectives, deepen your self awareness, discuss new techniques and build on your skills. Yes, I do have my own supervisor! Our monthly conversations are an important part of my ongoing training and development. As well as providing supervision services I work as a mentor for both trainee and established coaches. Often the two services are combined, with a bit of training added in where requested. I've been working as a personal and career coach for nearly 20 years. I completed my training as a supervisor with the Coaching Supervision Academy in 2008. The Association for Coaching is one of the leading professional bodies for Coaches and Organisations.
The Association is made up of a number of different membership categories, e.g. Associate Member (AMAC), Member (MAC), Accredited Member (AC Accred), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Accredited Members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
