Supervision details
I have run EMCC-accredited training courses for coaches since 2016, at Foundation & Practitioner level. As a result of this, I have a lot of experience with supporting newer coaches, both in terms of initial training, and also developing their skills as they embark on their coaching practice.
The 121 supervision that I offer for coaches tends to be mostly for coaches slightly earlier in their career, although I'm happy to consider working with coaches at any stage of development.
I default to quite a coaching style in supervision, aiming where possible to enable you to think through the issues you're facing in your coaching practice, and to explore approaches to dealing with them. Similarly, more broadly, in terms of change you'd like to make to your coaching practice. I'll complement this approach with an information-sharing, mentoring approach where appropriate.
I work with each coach in a bespoke way, though my supervision practice draws freely on established models of supervision such as Brigid Proctor's (1987) model, and the 'Seven-Eyed Model of (Coaching) Supervision' (Hawkins and Shohet).
