About me
MediCoach is a specialist coaching service for the professional development of trainee doctors looking to maximise their potential.
The courses and services have been developed and designed for trainees who want to access coaching either independently or through their Trainee Support Services. Coaching is particularly suitable for Trainees who want to develop themselves, their confidence, assertiveness, and leadership skills, or for those who want help preparing for exams. MediCoach offers highly successful bespoke courses for MRCGP candidates wishing to pass CSA exams.

Training, qualifications & experience
Sarah Palmer developed and owns Medicoach. Her background is in corporate law and having worked for a large multinational pharmaceutical company for many years she took a career break to have a family. Whilst on maternity leave the company was sold, so she took this as an opportunity to do something completely different. Sarah took a 3 year training course to become a coach and launched MediCoach, a specialist coaching company helping trainee doctors develop their careers.
The East Midlands Deanery have been working with Sarah for over 6 years, referring trainees to her for coaching on a number of challenges including confidence building, becoming more assertive, leadsership skills, organisational skills, juggling work/life balance (the demands of a heavy work load - family life - study - on calls - eportfolio - audits etc), adjusting to cultural differences, and exam preparation.
MediCoach have a particularly strong reputation for preparing GP trainees for CSA exam.

The International Coach Federation is the professional association for personal and business coaches worldwide.
Coaches can become accredited by the ICF, who have three grades of membership: Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Master Certified Coach (MCC), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Master Certified Coach's have achieved a substantial level of training and experience.
Members of ICF are accountable to a professional code of ethics.
