Further information
For someone newly diagnosed, I offer a steady presence, helping you to process the initial shock and anxiety. I can help you prepare questions for your medical team and explain what will happen during each test or scan. This empowerment allows you to actively participate in your care, reducing feelings of helplessness and loss of control.
As you go through treatment, I will continue to provide emotional support, helping you to manage the physical and mental toll of the therapies. We will work together to build resilience and encourage a positive mindset. I can suggest techniques to handle stress, uncertainty, and fear. I will help you navigate practical challenges, keeping you focused on small, achievable goals that restore a sense of progress and control.
After treatment has finished, many individuals struggle to find their "new normal." I can help you address feelings of loss, fear of recurrence, and the complexities of reintegrating into daily life. I will guide you in rediscovering your identity and purpose, creating a path that embraces both hope and healing.
Caregivers and loved ones also benefit from the guidance of a Cancer Support Coach. Supporting someone with cancer can be emotionally and physically draining. I will provide a confidential, supportive space for you to express your own thoughts and feelings and provide tools and techniques to manage your well-being. By addressing your own needs, you are better equipped to offer meaningful and sustainable support.
